I came to this place 6 years ago and it was amazing! My son and family came back October 28,2025 for my birthday and it was horrible! Once the waitress got our order we never seen her again until she brought our food out. Everyone was needing refills on their drinks and she was no where to be seen. The food was not good. Needless to say I will never go back to Villa Grande Ranch in Decatur Texas again! I love Mexican food and this was the worse I've ever had.

The outside area is awesome. Outdoor games too keep the kids busy while waiting on the food. The waitress told us there were some flies out there, but OH MY there were sooooo many flies! I often done outside and do expect to see some flies, but the amount of flies they had out there was insane.

The food is always good, but the salsa here is like tomato sauce. I wish it had more flavors to it. I feel like the price we paid for the food was a little much considering the portions have gotten smaller.

Bad experience - we ordered to go. We got an order of fajitas and a soup.
When we got home, we did not have any: tortillas, sour cream Guacamole Or salsa
We live about 30 minutes away and too. We tried to call but no answer and tried several times.
Very mad & disapponted …also mad we left a tip.

We arrived at the restaurant at 6:45ish, we got our drinks ordered and it took quite a while for our waitress to come back to get our food order. At 7:41 is when our food officially came out, everyone at the tables food was cold. I didn’t send my back because by that time I was hangry and wasn’t waiting another hour to eat and just go home. A child and an adult sent theirs back for it to be made and brought back within 10 minutes. It wasn’t even our waitress to bring the food out.. when it was time to go pay we expressed our concerns with the manager in which she said “well you still ate the food didn’t you??” The food was alright, it just would’ve been better warm. At least learn to bring out the kids dinner first before everyone else’s is ready…. Terrible service. Overall a 2/10 expirence.

First time there after being referred by my son. My husband and I, from Red Oak, TX absolutely loved it! The food was superb, our server Latasha* (misp*) was exceptionally friendly with a great smile,for sure on top of all we needed, but not annoying. Large place, but cozy atmosphere. Very pleased with quality of food and unbelievably low prices! Definitely recommend. ❤️
