This is a great little dinner.... it's wait staff is great and fun... the food is great... warning it's not a big place... I have seen it so packed that people will share tables..... That isn't a big deal in my opinion...I have also observed people waiting in their cars for a spot... it's worth it

First visit. Excellent service, and my lunch arrived shortly after ordering. My fried pork chops were some of the best I have ever had! I look forward to returning soon!
Our big regret is that we never knew about this place until we stopped in this last week while on a road trip that we make regularly. The food, the history, and the visit with the owner all made for a great experience. Our burgers, tots, onion rings, sweet tea, and shared slice of homemade chocolate meringue pie - every bite was a delight!!!

They’re not nice to Hispanic customers. Even the customers stared at us. Makes you feel uneasy and very unwanted.
We were skipped on purpose....Ordered burgers...shouldn't take long to serve them...haven’t gone back since.

My gf has lived here for 5 years and never knew this place existed.
Like many other places I've been too so far, I kept my expectations low. Boy was I wrong and happy I was wrong, because this is going to be a new spot for our family!

The roast gravy was far too thick. The pie filling was also.
Went there for the first time because folks raved about it. I can't rave. The vegetables were unseasoned and from a can. The chicken fried steak was tough and overdone. The fried okra was also overdone. The gravy was clotted. If I got the last servings of the old food before more was made, they should not have charged for it. Very disappointing.

Really cool place from days gone by. Like stepping back into 1970s small town Texas/Oklahoma. Food was pretty good. Staff were fine, not overly friendly, but certainly not rude. It's definitely worth a stop for the nostalgia. Lots of great looking pies that we didn't get to try. Will visit again.

Love this place. Food is usually on point, the staff is very welcoming and friendly as well. It's a very old time feel walking in like lunch counters of old.
Parking: Parking is the only thing I'd change about this place.
A hidden gem! Travelling through my wife searched for a place to stop for lunch and picked this place on name alone. We were pleasantly surprised at what we had stumbled on!
