Tacos here were really good. They only have corn tortillas, but the corn tortilla that they make is amazing. Very light and doesnt overwhelm the rest of the taco like most corn tortillas.
The Barbacoa and Chorizo Egg and Potato were amazing. If I am ever near the area again I will stop back by to get some more.
Prices are very reasonable as well.

I recently visited El Chanclas Taqueria and, unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Firstly, the price of $40 for 8 tacos is outrageous. I expected something special for that price, but the tacos were pretty average.Moreover, the cleanliness of the place was a major issue. The tables and floors were not well-maintained, and there were so many flies around that it made the dining experience quite unpleasant. It’s disappointing because a clean environment is crucial for a good dining experience, especially at a taqueria.Overall, I wouldn’t recommend El Chanclas Taqueria based on my visit. The high prices and lack of cleanliness are significant drawbacks.

Pastor tacos with her homemade corn tortillas were outstanding!
This place has some excellent food and the friendliest folks around. Everything is handmade and delicious. I had the Sopes with Pastor and they were so good I ate them before I could take a picture to put on this review. I highly recommend them if you’re in this part of town and looking for some tasty food.

Wow! Found this place by accident and couldn’t have been more happy with it. Do yourself a favor and get the pastor taco!!! Was delicious!!! Loved the homemade corn tortillas!!!!
