Just returned home from Beef-A-Roo. Went inside to place my order this time because last week I waited over 30mins to get my order at the drive thru window. What I can say about last week is that the supervisor (an older black man w/glasses) kept me abreast of what was going on. He was very straight forward about the problem. He stated that staff made a mistake w/my order & he had them to do it over. He also asked me if I were willing to wait for my order. I said yes and he also offered me a cookie. However, today (11/11/2025) I elected to place my order (order 79) inside around 4:15p. I was the only customer inside; and 1 car was in the drive thru. The nice lady took my order but did run into some problems w/the system shutting down on her. Another staff member came to her aid. About that time, 3 cars were in the drive thru. After another 15mins, more cars were in the drive thru; and line was moving fast. I waited another 10mins then asked the female staff (who assisted me) about my order. She said it was coming as she assisted w/bagging food for the drive thru. More and more cars were zipping thru drive thru so fast that I regretted my choice. I asked the female staff again for the status of my meal; and before she could respond, an older very heavyset black man w/very short grey hair stepped around the corner and asked me if there was a problem. I respond yes and reiterated my concern. He tried to water it down by blaming the system. I told him I've been waiting for my food over 30mins or more. He looked at me then turned his back and said - it's coming in a dismissive manner. I asked again for clarity. He said again this time with more bass in this voice still w/his back to me, "It's coming." No face to face interaction. Later the female staff handed me my meal. Once i received my meal I told the older black man that i wasn't happy w/the way he handled my issue. Again w/his back to me & a dismissive tone, he said, "Have a good day." I was so taken aback w/his lack of professionalism, communication and dispute resolution skills that I would report him to Beef-A-Roo's Corporate Office. His response again w/his back to me using the same tone stated, "Have a good Day." This guy shouldn't be the face of Beef-A-Roo in DeSoto. P.S. If this happened to me then I know it has happened to others who may not have the courage to come forward. I will test my theory by reaching out to others thru NextDoor soon. By the way, when I arrived home my fires were cold. It is my belief they turned cold waiting on my burger.

My service was great! Ebony was the cashier. She was very friendly and helpful! She suggested items that I haven't tried yet. I've eaten here several times. Their wraps and sweet potato fries are awesome. They have such a wide variety of food. It was a real pleasure to have her as my cashier. Way to go, Ebony.
I ordered the double bacon cheese burger.
I like my food done but this was too done, almost burnt w/no seasoning and iceberg lettuce, my home burgers taste better .
1 star for the size of the burger which was big...I won't be back...

I got a bacon double cheeseburger combo with a side of fries. Some things were off but over all I’m very satisfied and full! Food came out hot! Burgers were THIKK, and there was a good bit of bacon. The fries remind me of McDonalds but the burger is

You've GOT to try it!!! Their name is Beef-A-Roo and their Big Beef is exactly that, a mountain of thin sliced, delicious roast beef piled between a sesame seed bun. The grilled Mahi Mahi is probably my favorite, though. You get a fresh grilled Mahi Mahi fillet on an artisan bun, and I do mean "fresh grilled fillet", not a processed, breaded fish square like most fast food places. While they've got different several different sides to choose from, I usually get the cheese curds, which are always fresh and hot. Really, if you haven't tried Beef-A-Roo yet, you need to. If you need convincing, just take a look at the Big Beef and Mahi Mahi I picked up for lunch today. Sorry no cheese curds pic, they got eaten on the way home. One thing to be aware of though, they aren't the fastest of restaurants and sometimes you spend a few minutes in line. But trust me, the food you get more than makes up for the few minutes wait.

Fabulous burgers!
When this establishment first open it was good. Now the food is nasty and customer service is horrible. The person's on the drive thru speaker was so dry and pleasant. I asked for a kids meal with no onion. They gave me bag and made it all the one and realized that there was NO burger in the bag. They lady at the windows apologized and stated that she tried to catch me before I drove. THEN she gave me the cold burger and I as I was driving off I realized the burger had onions on it (the one thing I asked them not put on it)

Food is amazing! Nothing is a miss. I recommend getting the Wild West burger, cheese curds , and a pomegranate lemonade. The patty melt was cheesy and good. Can’t forget the cookie ? will definitely come back.
