I have been going to this location since 2022. I found them after going to a PT appointment. I love everything! Now that peach cobbler is OMG!! Get 10 of them! Everyone is extremely nice. Proud of this black owned business! Now, because they are so good, I cant get my ham order in for Thanksgiving 😔

This was my first visit to a barbecue joint in Dallas period, I can truly say the ribs were amazing and fell right off the bone, so tender! The potato salad was pretty good, however my favorite was the barbecue sauce!! That sauce was on point I could just eat any meat with their sauce. I’ll definitely be back to try more on the menu.

Everything we ordered wasn't available yet they have a full menu. This is the norm according to people in that neighborhood. We ended up getting a chopped beef sandwich with chips and a whole beef sandwich with two sides. Got in the car with the bag, the food smelled like lighter fluid. Get home, I took one bite of the chopped beef sandwich. It didn't taste anything remotely close to beef. I didn't take another bite and really regret not taking it back. A family member ate his and is now really sick! He woke up throwing up and may need to go to the hospital. We think there was lighter fluid in the meat. BEWARE of eating anything from this Godforsakened place!

Went here the other day and ordered a sausage plate and 2 strawberry cakes! Went in got the food which was somebody else food took it back in there .. got the right plate just to get the cake and have hair wrapped all in the cake .. so they gave a new cake ! Just for me to try and eat it today and find more hair ! That’s disgusting ! Literally ruined my appetite! The food is actually good tho ! But the service and the hair in the cake did it for me😭

When I lived in Desoto, Evans BBQ use to be my go to place for a baked potato and their beef mac. I haven't been in years and decided to order it from GrubHub. I ordered 2 sides of the mac n beef and it was gross! It even looked bad. I don't know if I was served an old batch, on this particular day(08/08) or they no longer serve it the same way but it was full of grease, to where the macaroni was drenched in it. The macaroni was soggy, and I can't explain the taste or lack there of but it might have been spoiled. I try not to use terms like gross when it comes to food but it was gross and inedible. Their bbq sauce is still is one of the best and I enjoyed the potato but the way they served that side dish, makes me not want to trust anything else from their kitchen. So sad.

I was at Evans on yesterday. I wanted the brisket, but it was still cooking and wouldn't be ready until today, so I ordered 2 rib sandwiches, food overcooked and dry. Plus it was too hot in the building to do anything but order, wait and go.

I ordered a beef plate with beans and potatoe salad. I was given old, cold ,dry , tasteless brisket slices and store bought sides. I'm really disappointed because I like to support small businesses. The food I purchased was not fresh. I could imagine the meat was cooked a few days ago. I also attached photos of what I received. I will not be back. SMH
