Food looked & smelled amazing.. However the salmon was dry the dirty rice looked like quinoa with no seasoning or meat in it & the cabbage was horrible no seasoning at all… For the price that I paid it was not worth it.. I wish this place the best but I will not be returning..

Spent $73. Ordered Jerk Chicken and dirty rice(couscous) , a stuffed turkey leg with 1/2 lobster Mac 1/2 dirty rice(couscous), banana pudding and lemon cake. Both of the entree items lacked flavor. I feel that if you advertise rice, it should be just that and not couscous disguised as rice. The lemon cake was just ok and we haven’t tried the banana pudding yet so I’ll have to reserve my review of that.

I bought a stuffed turkey leg and Cajun chicken pasta. The customer service was fine, but the turkey leg was a bit dry. The "Cajun" pasta wasn't truly Cajun, and the chicken was overcooked and dry. The noodles were fresh and the sauce was decent, but nothing extraordinary. The total cost was about $26 after tax. I would rate my experience four stars.

First let me say the food was Amazing! It was flavorful and seasoned to perfection. My only issue was the price. For me and my husband to eat an oxtail plate and 2 drinks each it was $160. I thought that to be a little overpriced considering it was 4 oxtails per plate. I will return but we won’t drink there because $20 per plain margarita on the rocks is a little expensive. Overall good food, if you have the funds to spend please go eat their food.

I ordered the sausage shrimp pasta and the sausage needs to be cooked longer. Skin was tuff and had gristle pieces throughout the sausage. I hate that!!! I had to throw away half the meal bc it was more sausage than shrimp. Please cook the meat and not boil it or not cook it long enough. So disappointed!!!
I have been here a few times. The food is good, but the service is lacking. The smothered potato was delicious.

10/10 rating & here’s why!For starters, I was reluctant because of the mixed reviews. It gave the impression that the Desoto Location wasn’t good but Let me tell you…It was amazing! I ordered the Turkey Leg Stuffed w/Lobster Mac and cheese and it was delicious! Not too salty or spicy which is just like I like it! Just enough to be considered comfort food. And the serving was big, I couldn’t eat it all in one sitting. It is a bit pricier but I definitely think it’s worth it. This dish is definitely one of my favs. The way the Turkey SLID OFF THAT BONE sent me straight to my happy place (I’m a foodie if you couldn’t tell). And let me not forget to mention that I didn’t start eating until I made it home like 15 minutes later and when I opened it up IT WAS STILL HOT! Like howww???? I love my food hot, fresh, and perfectly seasoned, and it was ALL 3!What’s my point?? If you haven’t tried it yet… just go. It was worth every penny to me!Oh yeah, that sweet potato cake Blessed my soul too! It was the icing on the cake!

Food was a 7 out of 10. Very hot and fresh. But flavor wise it's a 7. It looks amazing but it's nothing you can't make at home. Or get at chilis restaurants. I was expecting bold flavors. I'm florida and me and my wife stopped through. My lady Turkey plate with Mac was so plain. Again it look so amazing. But it's just not what it look like. I don't mind the price if the food is slap yo baby good. But for regular food. 47 dollars for them plates wasn't it. Again if it taste really flame ill pay whatever. Would I come back?? Idk.
