What a friendly and comfortable restaurant. We have not been to Luby's Cafeteria in years. Bring a big appetite when you visit this fantastic restaurant. We had so many things to choose from, but as we are on a Keto diet for the moment we chose fish and veggies. Everything looked delicious, and our meals were out of this world. A smiley faced jovial man checked on us a few times even though it is a cafeteria place. All the many employees deserve kudos for their hard work in preparing and serving such delicious food. BTW You cannot beat the low prices. Thanks, oodles, for this wonderful experience, Luby's!!! You will see us again at another one of your locations.

Person assigned to our table was pleasant and courteous. She helped with each request. The line employees were very dismissive and would leave you at a station for several minutes, creating a long line of frustrated people behind us. We waited over 5 minutes just to get carrot salad because there was no one manning the station. Definitely not the kind of service we've received at other locations.

Lydia is an amazing Waitress! She anticipates your table mate’s needs and is superb. The plethora of food options will satisfy everyone in your group. Try the Monterrey Chicken Fried Chicken with Spinach and Macaroni and cheese. Do NOT forget to purchase a Sweet Tea and Lemon Ice Box Pie with a mint leaf, lemon ringlet and blackberry garnish!

Well today is Easter Sunday,I expected Luby's line to be long and that was okay,what I really had a hard time with is the food line once we approached getting our trays,the food service people were all over the place they had horrible service,I don't have a problem with our young people being employed at a restaurant in fact I promote it if it's their choice but at least give them proper training on serving,I witnessed one of the workers going back and fourth with a elderly woman because of what she requested on her plate, finally I assume a manager came and she was also trying to down play the situation,respect is everything and none was there,please Luby's properly train the young people on how to serve and how to have respect,by the way waiting so long in the line on my plate after being fixed the the employee who plated my food was so busy watching her supervisor being disrespectful that another person in the line asked me where my food was,I stated it's just sitting there getting cold,when my family finally got out the line to the table my food was a disappointment and was cold.Lubys step your game up because there is a small amount of Luby's hanging on.

Food was mediocre at best, staff in the dining room was awesome. Waited at the cashier for 10 minutes to get change to leave the buss folks a tip and she ignored me after I asked for change. First and last time to Luby’s.
