As someone from California having a layover in Dallas I had to try it for the first time. It did not disappoint (but In N Out is still my favorite lol)

Patrice, who was working the morning of 11/15/25, was the epitome of great customer service. She was warm with a sweet smile and extremely thorough. She upsold me on adding jalapeños to my taquitos which I never thought of and will do every time going forward.

My food was well made and tasty, exactly how I ordered it. But the screens don't work and employees who deliver the food are miserable
Terminal E has a Whataburger near gate 27. The Triple Decker Belly Buster with cheese was made fresh, Onion rings were hot, staff was friendly, and service was quick. No table seating, so turn that clamshell carry-on into a tabletop. Totally worth the pilgrimage.

Not a huge fan of eating around from restaurants at any airport. Food isn't always what you expect it to be but it actually surprises me because it tasted good enough to go eat another honey Chicken biscuit. I was lucky to have found it at DFW airport. Limited seating. It doesn't have the fastest service but it was worth the wait.

Concourse E DFW, been there twice. Both times excellent burgers and fries, free drink refills. Price very reasonable considering it on a airport concourse.

Restaurantji Recommends
this location in Terminal D has rude employees and the FBB the manager is rude as hell
they won't honor requests for fresh shelled eggs
terminal E will honor the fresh shelled eggs requests
Terminal D told me they don't do shelled eggs i mean are they not a part of whataburger?
all whataburger honors requests for shelled eggs
Try terminal E you'll get better service

They have a great & relatively inexpensive honey chicken biscuit combo that comes with hash browns & spicy ketchup, and a coffee. The line moved quick and my order arrived hot and fresh-ish (it's fast food, is anything truly fresh?). If you need a quick, cheap bite before boarding, don't sleep on this Texas staple.

Food is definitely hot and fresh. Nice location. Grill was dirty. Not happy about my egg on my biscuit. Employees in kitchen sumped over on the food tables.just doesn't look professional at all. Nice and clean restaurant.
