I had heard of this place from several friends in the Devine TX area and they all raved about it. On the way back from a trip to Uvalde on business myself and a friend decided to stop in there. It was not crowded for being 3:00 in a Friday afternoon. It was a surprised the lunch specials were still available at that time of the day. I was impressed with both the quality and the portions. The pork chops (2) were thick cut and cooked just right, the cheesy potatoes were some of the best that I have had, and the broccoli was bigger than expected and steamed perfectly. I admit I am a bit of a food critic, and I don't mind paying for what I get as long as I get what I pay for. I was blown away by the price especially for the quantity and quality they serve. It is well worth the drive.

Food and service were excellent!! Bill is awesome! We rode up very hungry and thirsty. Really needed a break from the heat! They had just closed but Bill took us in anyway and his son fixed us the best club sandwich we've ever had!

Saw this place on the side of Hwy90 and thought we would give it a shot. I was really happy we stopped. Service was great. Decor reminds me of an antique shop meets old west saloon. The chicken fried steak is the thing to get here. Trust me you won't be disappointed. The half order is still huge and practically covers the plate. Broccoli is super fresh and the serve you half a head with your dish. Liver and onions a great if that's your sort of thing. Very impressed with quality of food and flavors. A true gem in this tiny town!

My wife and I enjoyed a Saturday lunch . Service was attentive and our server gave great suggestions to our lunch. KK has a variety of foods...We enjoyed a huge hamburger and a grilled Supersized chicken breast with a baked potato. Price easy on the wallet.

Driving home from Sanabel found this on the Internet. We stopped on a blind search and we will 100% be back. Prices are reasonable and the food is amazing! Apps, steaks and desserts were unbelievable. Especially the desserts!!!!

Not as good as it use to be. They only have one fryer and I was exhausted from running errands and forgot to ask but allergic to fish and they fry catfish with everything else so I got ill. My son ordered a steak and it was very thin but cooked perfectly and had good flavor.My family have been going for years and usually spend well over $100 every visit last big meal.there it was close to $300. Needless to say none of my family will be returning
I had a chicken fried steak and it was delicious. You won't go hungry. We drive from San Antonio just to eat at Bill & Ros's or KK Steakhouse.

Friendly staff, and they live up to their reputation of some yummy chicken fried steak! The sides are fresh, ie broccoli- you get a head of it steamed, squash- still has a wonderful bite and crisp because they don't cook it to mush. Always can count on them serving you the same quality- yum!

Very disappointed!Walked in it was very hot, only fans. Chicken Fried steak had alot of nerve.Carrot cake was dry and hard.Poor quality of food!Won't go back.

Please go check out this steakhouse, the country home atmosphere is worth it enough, and if that doesn't interest you... the giant Texas sized chicken fried steak should! Bill does a very good job managing and cooking for this awesome local eatery. My dad and I have to visit every time we are in town!
