I had heard of this place from several friends in the Devine TX area and they all raved about it. On the way back from a trip to Uvalde on business myself and a friend decided to stop in there. Food and service were excellent!! Bill is awesome! We rode up very hungry and thirsty. Really needed a break from the heat! They had just closed but Bill took us in anyway and his son fixed us the best club sandwich we've ever had!
Saw this place on the side of Hwy90 and thought we would give it a shot. I was really happy we stopped. Service was great. Decor reminds me of an antique shop meets old west saloon. The chicken fried steak is the thing to get here. Trust me you won't be disappointed. The half order is still huge and practically covers the plate. Broccoli is super fresh and the serve you half a head with your dish. Liver and onions a great if that's your sort of thing. Very impressed...
