Flew in on a student pilot solo cross country. Very nice approach. Clean airfield and friendly FBO - staff came out to greet me. Used the restrooms and grabbed some water, but I definitely would love to come back for the restaurant.
Some years ago, I used to live near the end of the N - S runway so would walk over to the airport cafe for one of those gooood hamburgers. Moved closer to town and didn't get back for a long time. Today daughter and I made the trip back to the airport cafe and got one of those burgers. They haven't changed. Still the same great burger. Generous lean thick burger patty. Fresh fixins. The staff....fantastic, friendly, and helpful. We will be back.
The airport has a nice layout. The trees at the end make it a fun approach in the wind. The FBO was nice with friendly staff. Fuel prices were fair. The fuel truck arrived less than 1 minute after calling. The restrooms were in good working condition and clean.
