Most times when you have food at a fast food joint connected or inside a convenience store or fuel stop, you're gonna get at best an OK experience. Greasy long held food, an old oil smoking in the fryer smell, and cleanliness that borders on safe for inspection.
LET ME TELL YOU, THIS PLACE IS DIFFERENT!!!
A very clean dining area is what you are presented with when you walk in. No old funky or greasy smells and the lighting is plenty bright to welcome all who come.
Walking up to the counter, we were greeted by a very warm and welcoming staff. The female who took our order was very cheerful and even joked with us when we presented an odd proposition.
The food was fresh and hot! I've spent over 20 years in the restaurant, bar, and nightclub scene and seen all manners of fryers, good and bad. The food had none of that old oil flavor and there was no smoke coming from the fryers in the kitchen. This means they keep their oil fresh and have an excellent hood and vent system. Most fast food joints ignore these things, but not this place.
Overall, I will DEFINITELY be stopping by again as the family travels that way at least 10 times a year.
the churches here in my hometown is always fresh and Hot, I especially like the spicy chicken. However sometimes even the order gets read back to me the order is missing an item

Went to the drive thru. Asked them to make the chicken fresh, she said they had just dropped the chicken and it was fresh! Wrong! Chicken was old and dry and had no flavor. The only thing good was the biscuits! I could have waited for fresh chicken since we drove to Dilley just for chicken.. smh! Dissatisfied
Food was hot and good but there were about 25 cats roaming around outside the building.

I came in ordered a 2 piece dark and a 2 piece dark meal with a large drink and 4 bombers I paid 18.00 and got a 2piece meal 4 bombers and a large drink. The cashier rushed through my order that he didn't get it right then proceeds to argue with what I ordered. Meal would have been fine if the service would have been more attentive... suggestions to reduce price of the order or paying attention to what the customer orders would be helpful
