Small mom and pop place with generous portions and decent prices. Great customer service as well. Will definitely be making a trip back from Mission, TX. Ordered chicken fried steak and it was delicious without the greasy runny sauce compared to other places I've tried. That alone was a meal itself without the need of side. I picked fries and corn and they were delicious too! Give these folks a try and support local small business!!

Ordered the half size of the chicken fried chicken and it was the most delicious home cookin’ meal that I had ever had. Their gravy is made in house and they break their own chicken.
Highly recommend checking this gem out. They are definitely one of the Rio Grande’s gem.

Tried the half portion of the Country Fried Steak and was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful it was—definitely a must-try for anyone who enjoys well-seasoned, crispy fried steak. The mashed potatoes were also excellent, packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!
A small suggestion: since it was my first visit, a bit of guidance upon arrival—like whether to seat myself or wait—and maybe a few entrée recommendations would have made the experience even better. Still, a minor detail in an overall enjoyable visit.
