Amazing is the only word I can use! Found it on maps, saw the appetizing photos and good reviews and stopped by on a whim. Best decision EVER! I had the fajita taco and the picadillo con papas taco. The fajita had an amazing flavor. Whatever seasoning they use, it makes perfect for a fajita taco. The meat though was a bit chewy. I think it’s the cut of the fajita they use and not necessarily anything they do. The picadillo taco tasted like homemade. The flavor absolutely the bomb and the meat and potatoes were cooked to perfection.
Stopped here on our way back to Dallas. We chose Pan De Vida solely based off reviews. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint! The barbacoa was packed full of flavor, tortillas were in house made. Coffee was hot, seating was spacious. And on our way out we had a biscuit that was toasted to perfection. Service was phenomenal. We’ll be making this a routine stop every time we’re in the valley.
