Great food and great atmosphere. If you’re looking for a country atmosphere, fairly priced menu; whether on the road or just getting out of Fredericksburg, this is a really nice place to take the family for a meal.
Doss Country Store and Country Kitchen is so worth the 25 minute drive from Fredericksburg. We were looking for a good steak and we found it in Doss. Ordered the New York Strip and my husband ordered the top sirloin. Steaks melted in your mouth, tender and juicy…super friendly service too. They also have live music at certain times and a dance hall barn
Dont be fooled by the pictures, y'all. This place serves delicious burgers! The chef, Burt (if I remember his name correctly), cooked them perfectly. The chicken was tender, juicy and flavorful.
