I had to make a constant road trip about twice a month, and I’ll make sure to Head out in time just so I could get some of their donuts. Top-tier quality and deliciousness, and I swear they are the nicest people I’ve ever met in my life. 10/10 highly recommend🤝
Early Donuts is the kind of spot you might drive past if you aren’t paying attention, but locals know better. The air is thick with the scent of warm glaze and yeasty dough, and there’s a comforting rhythm to the morning rush—pickup trucks idling in the drive-thru, regulars greeting the staff by name. This is where Early wakes up: croissants with just the right flake, pillowy-soft donuts that disappear faster than you expect, and kolaches that could hold their own anywhere...
You've found em... the best donuts, kolaches and absolutely the best croissants in central Texas.
The owners are super friendly, and always accommodating. I tend to buy enough extras to snak on throughout the day, and hopefully a couple of donuts make it to the next morning for a rendezvous with some fresh, black coffee! (Doesn't happen that often unfortunately).
