Great service and easily moved our party of 8 I side when we realized it was too hot to sit outside. Margaritas great as was food.
It is a fun place to hang, especially on the deck with the turtles and ducks. Food was over salted... and I like salt. Will go back but more drinks and apps place.
I absolutely loved this restaurant. The food was great, I really loved the atmosphere on the deck outside. The staff was incredibly kind. Definitely going back!
This place used to be packed so I made reservations but it was not crowded on a Saturday evening. I suspect it's not crowded the food was below average & the bar took 20 minutes to pour our drinks (3 beers, 2 cocktails & one slushy of a frozen margarita). Server did his best with the delay but delivered one beer with Tajin smeared on the glass saying it's only on the outside. Pls don't serve a dirty glass. I don't think we'll be giving it another try.
Our server was excellent, but the kitchen was unable to get food to the table in a timely manner. We waited a long time for our meals, which were o.k., not great. Disappointed.
Our recent visit to Hula Hut was profoundly disappointing. Here's a breakdown of our experience: Food Quality: The food lacked flavor and creativity. We ordered four appetizers, and none stood out. The fries tasted like they were straight from a freezer bag, lacking any hint of freshness or seasoning. The Huli Huli chicken, a dish we had high hopes for, was simply bland grilled chicken, devoid of any distinctive taste. To top it off, one of our friends described the salsa as tasting like an ashtray – an unappetizing and concerning comparison. Beverages: We had six adult beverages among the seven of us, and they were incredibly weak. One drink was outright bad, making us question the quality of ingredients and the skills of the bartender. Service: The service was equally disheartening. Our waiter was unfamiliar with the menu and struggled to answer basic questions. When we asked to try all five flavors available, he seemed confused and unable to assist us properly. The pinnacle of poor service occurred when water started leaking from the ceiling. Instead of addressing the issue or alerting management, our waiter merely commented, “Oh that's not good...” leaving us to handle the situation ourselves. Overall, our experience at Hula Hut was far below expectations. The lackluster food, weak drinks, and subpar service made it a dining experience we won't forget but for all the wrong reasons.
We enjoyed ourselves celebrating Mother's day. Some of the food items were incorrect and the fries that were received were cold. Other than that it was great.
Crummy food. Horrible service. Was supposed to sing Happy Birthday, but never did. Won't go back. I do NOT recommend this Hula Hut!
Food was great! Patio was very nice. We had a few issues with service. I visited with a friend and we ordered drinks, one appetizer to share and each had a meal. Her meal arrived first followed 10 min later by our appetizer and another 10 minutes before my lunch (which was not correct) was delivered. The waitress apologized and offered to fix my lunch but quoted 20 minutes so I just accepted what was delivered. We spoke to the manager who was very apologetic and explained they were short staffed. She very graciously applied a credit to our ticket and gave us a gift certificate for a return visit which was very nice as well. We both loved the food (coconut shrimp, avocado and fajitas) and will definitely return to try again.
I had Briana as a server who was a delight. She told me all about the special of the day with the options and how to save money with it. I was thrilled that they had a soup and salad combo for only 6 dollars. I definitely will be back for more deals.

Some of the food items were extremely hot like the slaw. Actually ate the meat out of the tacos and nothing else.
Surprised to find this place to be so good. The food was great. Some dishes are pretty spicy and were delicious! Service was excellent and fast. We had a very good dining experience at Hula Hut.
We were underwhelmed by our experience. The waitress apologized because she was working the bar and our section but we were ignored for quite some time until I had to go and find the hostess. We were understanding and gave it a chance but the experience never really got any better.
So: good chips/salsa and queso. Friends all had good meals (fajitas, cubano sandwich). I wasn't too hungry so ordered an appetizer (empanadas) which seemed pricey but thought would be worth it if good. Not sure who the supplier is (or if they were 'home made') but they were WaaaaY overpriced for what you get. Three small (appetizer-sized) pockets with fairly bland filling (the verde salsa was good); however, they were clearly waiting too long on the fajitas and were only slightly warm. Moreover: they were $15(!!!) Comparatively, the Cuban sandwich with fries (a huge sandwich) was $14... so a $1 less for 5x as much food. Utterly ridiculous. Waiter was nice but over busy with multiple tables. There was a large party in the other room (so a bit loud) and my male friends had to leave early to go find a restroom somewhere else as the one on our side was under repairs, and the one in the party room apparently had a line a mile long... Not the experience I was expecting.
The recepcionist was so rude, I told her we had a reservation, she told us to wait for no apparent reason, people that arrived after us were getting a table before us and then when we finally could go to our table, the waitress gave us a table inside, and my reservation was for outside table. It was a horrible experience, I will neve go back.
