I had their mushroom swiss burger and sweet potato fries and it was very good. We also ordered their Edinburg egg rolls and they were very tasty, as well. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was cozy. The beer was on point, too. It is definitely worth checking out.

Went here with my mom for the first time on a random weekday for lunch. Nice atmosphere. Our server was speedy and attentive. They havw happy hour all day everyday until labor day so I was a happy camper. And they also give 10% off for First responders so even better. We did thr 2 for $27 special they had and it came with an appetizer, 2 meals, and desser. I gave the food only 3 stars because my burger was very average. The patty was one of those frozen patties and the bread was very flakey. The fries were good. My mom had the chicken fried chicken with mash and green beans. Her dish was amazing. Seasoned to perfection. The wings were also very tasty. We got the garlic parm. I don't eat drumsticks but that's how it comes with the deal and I tried it just because. They had a nice crisp outside with a smokey taste on the end. Very meaty. Definitely will be going back before labor day for happy hour for sure.

Awesome place. The waitress, the food and the atmosphere were spot on. We had steak, chop steak, chicken fried chicken and pot roast with sides. Everyone was very pleased with their choices. Save room for dessert! The flan and the churro tacos were scrumptious 😋. Will be making another trip 🥰

Delicious. Like wow, Delicious. And the prices were unbelievable. I had the grilled salmon. It came over a bed of mushroom risotto and I had the green beans as a side. Even the green beans were delicious. Everything was perfect. My husband had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and a corn fritter. The corn fritter was amazing as well. We tried the Edinburg egg rolls as our appetizer and they did not disappoint. Service was excellent. Highly, highly recommend this place. I want to go back and try everything on the menu.

Very meh. The food didn't match the restraunt vibe, and the mixed drink was more ice than drink. The ribs, mashed potatoes, and baked green beans were good, but I wouldn't recommend the Southwest Egg rolls. The food wasn't worth photographing. If you have nowhere else to go in Edinburg, take a gamble here.

Ordered both New York strip and sirloin
steaks medium rare but sadly received
them well done. The exterior was overly
charred, masking any natural flavor the
meat might've had. To make matters worse
there was no seasoning whatsoever-just
burnt bitterness in every bite. Hard to enjoy
when all you taste is overcooked
disappointment. Definitely not worth the
price.

This was my first time at Barrel House & Bar and I must say I was very impressed.
The atmosphere was inviting and relaxed and the staff were full of smiles and welcoming demeanor.

The food was amazing!
I had the grilled Salmon with fish tacos as an appetizer and I was. It disappointed.

I plan to return soon and look forward to trying their other entree offerings.
