A MUST TRY!!! If you're searching for some delicious sweet bread, this is the place! Their glazed donuts and their polvorones (cinnamon sugar cookies) are soooo good!! I can't leave Edinburg without stopping here. And to top it off, they are very nice. They do close early and are closed on Mondays so make sure to stop in early as they also run out of most of their sweet bread because of how good it is. Don't miss out!!

The baked goods here are unbelievably fresh—you can smell them the moment you walk in. The service is quick and exceptional, and the atmosphere feels just like an old-fashioned neighborhood bakery. The conchas are some of the softest and sweetest you’ll ever find. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by!

Went in for the BEST DOUGHNUT AND CAKES in the Rio Grande Valley. The doughnuts were soft and warm. I couldn't stop eating them. Moist and tasty. SUPERB BAKING... HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BAKERY. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Red head at the counter was rude and condescending. There was NO line behind me at all. She asked what I was getting I said a dozen and she said “okay that’s it?” I said “yeah” and she says “okay 15, pay right there” and as I was grabbing my money I see her stuffing a all glaze I never said glaze at all and she’s threw them with attitude and I told her I was going to choose and she said “I asked glaze” I told her “no you asked if that was it” and she proceeded to cut me off and be rude. I usually come here for the sweet bread because it’s amazing but it seems like someone is tired of the job and can’t be respectful. Never returning

The donuts were very good, especially the glazed and I loved the chocolate donut - tasted like abuelita chocolate! The conchas were good - solid, and everything else looked amazing. The only thing I didn't like was the marranitos... they left a bad after taste. But hey, you be your own judge! Other than that, I loved seeing the photos around the bakery, really adds a home feel.

Saw a video on Fork It! For their doughnuts 🍩 and even though I'm a fan of La Mexicana since I was little I had to give them a try and they were delicious. Fresh out of the oven bought them around 7:30 AM. Their chocolate doughnuts throw every doughnut out of the water. Big thanks to foodie Fork it! For the suggestion! Deliciousness for a buck 😋
