I love this location on Sugar Road, Edinburg. They are always friendly, the place is always clean. Food is delicious and hot. I wish I would of taken pictures of my food, but it was so good, I gobbled it up, LOL! Thank you!
I dont eat meat/chicken.. but my son does, and he loves coming to Golden Chick. They have great prices for their combos. I do enjoy ordering macaroni, fried ocea and one of their rolls for myself. My son also says they have the best fries. :)
Take out so I can't comment on atmosphere but I can say Golden Chick is MUCH better then Church's.

My husband ordered take out and the whole order was wrong, we live outside of Edinburg and its very inconvenient when they tell bring the order back, so we can fix it, you pick up food to go home and relax from getting out of work and then they give you a hard time to give you credit like if its your fault, the manager that works there at golden chic has an attitude and telling my husband that people just call to get free food, as a manager she needs to have more respect because not all customers are the same, a manager that doesn't respect should not be a manager. She did not want to give her name but I just saw other post with the name by Ruby, make sure you check your order before leaving because they will sure give you a hard time on making it right. When they are at fault.
