Today I got a large bowl and usually I get the regular size and you would think they would add more edamame or purple cabbage but no i got the amount of a small bowl and put too much of my quinoa base. Didn’t enjoy my lunch today 😞

The 'order ahead' option is completely useless. I placed my order an hour in advance, around 12 PM, and specifically selected 1 PM for pickup since that’s my lunch hour. I arrived at 1:16, expecting my food to be ready, but they hadn’t even started preparing it. To make matters worse, I had to stand in line and wait just like someone who hadn’t pre-ordered, which is incredibly frustrating and defeats the whole purpose of ordering ahead.
This isn’t the first time this has happened—it’s the second time I’ve experienced this poor service. I didn’t even have time to wait, so I had to request a refund and leave without food. While the food itself is great, the service is disorganized and unreliable. If they can’t handle the order-ahead system, they shouldn’t offer it at all.

I’m a frequent customer and I absolutely adore this place. I’ve tried other poke spots and none taste as good as Makai! I’ve taken soooo many people here and every single one of them loves it every time! I will be eating at this restaurant forever!

The food was delicious! Healthy and amazing flavor. The only thing I would say is that they don't have calorie intake for each item listed as someone that is in a calorie deficit I need to know how many calories I am consuming.

This last time we ordered ahead of time and it wasn’t ready 30 minutes later. Something needs to change with your service.

Staff are so clueless, and rude after waiting to give my order, another person walks in & the staff just ignore me & gets there order, I even tell them I was next, they look at me still take the other persons order. I didn't order anything I just left.

I had to walk out as the girl helping me thought it was better to stop doing my bowl and decided to help the costumer after me while she was making my bowl. Not only that, but it was evident to me that they take long in purpose with their last hour orders as it’s the last hour. For a second I thought I was in a youtube experiment for bad costumer service experience.
If you craving poke bowls I’d recommend Kailani Poke. Their ingredients seem fresher and their hours are better.
