Sushi kind of mid, dry, and feels/tastes cheap. For take out didn’t have wasabi or soy sauce lol. How can sushi place doesn’t have the most essential sauce for sushi. Ruined the whole sushi craving vibe. Not coming again

I remember when this place used to be good. They take forever to get your order to you even though there's 4 people in the restaurant. I always try calling in to order ahead and they never answer and when they do they put you on hold for 15 min or until I get tired of waiting. I go in to order my food and there's only 5 customers. The service is Really bad, and they don't always get your order right. 😒

I have been eating at this restaurant since before quarantine. This used to be my all time favorite sushi restaurant, and I’m very picky with where I eat sushi. Something I love about their sushi is that they pull off mixing Mexican food with Japanese food. Something I have noticed is that the quality of their food has changed. I used to always order either the Maki Supreme, or the Shrimp and more Shrimp. In recent months, every time I order these dishes, they taste weird, “funky” (and I’m using this term lightly) if I may say.

This is one of my favorite spots in Edinburg! The food and service is always great! I recommend Maki if you love sushi. Rosslyn was my waiter this last time and did a great job.

Sushi isn't what it was 15 years ago. If you wanna eat a rolls with 98% cream cheese and tiny bits of meat.eat at makis. The sushi was poor quality and I thought kumori was bad. This took the cake. I ended up throwing up for 4 hours after digesting the sushi. I won't be returning here again.
Got my food late, called numerous times before they answered, then when they did I was told they can't give me a refund for the food that was missing from my order. That they can offer me a credit, even though I'm not living here at the time. Manager didn't even talk to me had worker Jesus do it, not his fault the manger sucks.
Terrible service, the wait is long and the place is empty for more than 1 hour for 4 sushi
