Actually, 2 1/2 stars. On Thursday, August 11, 2022, my wife and I visited Obees for the first time and we ordered a botana platter for two. The food was average with not much flavor, however the fajitas were tender. No guacamole on the platter and no jalapeños. Now, about the a/c in the restaurant...GET A DECENT A/C! It was HOT in the restaurant and they had several portable fans throughout, but that didn't help any. When it was time to pay, I asked the cashier for a subtotal, for tip purposes, and she couldn't give me one. She did, however, mention that there was a $1 charge to use a debit card as payment (good thing I had cash). I told her they should let customers know, beforehand, of such a charge and she said it was posted on the entrance door. I told her we didn't visit restaurants to read their entrance door postings. The sign wasn't even noticeable. I've read good reviews about this restaurant pertaining to their breakfast, but their lunch/regular menu and their atmosphere left a lot to be desired. I doubt we'll be returning. NEXT!

Inside is spacious, they have free refills on lemonade that is SO GOOD, the carne guisada it is soft and with good flavor would recommend getting it in a plate, hope to eat there soon again.

Service was a little slow, but only one waitress, they ran out of mash potatoes for my dish, but substituted fries instead... food was ok.

Called in a order for 2 burgers 1 kids burgerThey said it would be 25min. Was on my way out of town so picking up dinner. Got there to pick up order they weren't ready restaurant had 2 tables occupied and 25 mins is long enough for a order of burgers to say the least. I waited 20 more minutes still no food I asked for a refund and left. I should of read the reviews before I went. 1 cook 1 waitress even with hardly any customers or orders ahead 40 minutes for burgers is ridiculous. I felt bad for the waitress it's not her fault she has to deal with annoyed and frustrated costumers the management needs to step up.
