This is a great local eatery. They're only open at lunch but that's okay because they make great lunches.
I had the special which was chicken parm and their soup of the day which is broccoli and cheese. The soup was creamy and good. The chicken parm was very good. The cutlet had a nice crunchy outside with perfectly cooked chicken.
My wife had the spicy rooster sandwich which was huge! The sauce was slightly buttery, slightly sweet, and had a classic buffalo flavor.

I haven't tasted anything that I didn't like. The buffalo chicken with butter sauce is AMAZING and hopefully they will add to their normal menu! So grateful we have a chef cooking in town that gives us a healthy meal with wonderful flavors.
We used Cicada Catering this past weekend for a large 100 person reunion/reception. By far, the highlight of the event WASN'T to celebrate my recent marriage, it was actually the DELICIOUS food that James & Team prepared, hah! Every single person at our event raved about the food, I would recommend them to anyone looking for tasty quality food.
Their catering team was prompt, SUPER nice and friendly, and provided everything we needed to be setup. James and I had worked on the menu beforehand and they were very accommodating to my requests. Specifically, the oreo cheesecake was a massive hit! So was the Cicada club sandwich - which was piled high with meats, cheeses, veggies, and a most delicious sauce on multiple toasts that we then dipped in a tomato basil soup they had prepared. The potato salad also was better than my grandma's so that says a lot (even though I would never admit that to her). They cleaned up all the catering stuff after they finished service and were incredibly fair priced for the quality.
It's unfortunate for me that we don't live in Edna, because if we did we would 100% come eat at their establishment every day possible! Please do yourself a favor and check out this locally owned gem for dine in or for catering services, they will not disappoint.
