I’m over the road, Truck Driver for 40+ years today November 6. I had truck issues needed to call the ROAD SERVICE to come give me up. It was right near this location. I’m so glad it happened here the owner. The staff were so friendly and helpful to accommodate my truck while the repair man fix the truck while I’m here. Great motorcycle ride (285 mile round trip) to experience a very delicious bacon cheeseburger, chicken fried steak sandwich, patty melt, fried mushrooms, fried okra, tater tots, and French fries. The store was pretty cool to visit, memories of the old days growing up. Our group really enjoyed the atmosphere plus when paying at the counter, there was a big wooden Indian “Kawliga” available for a photo-op !!!!
Now, this is a true Texas gem. I had the Ruben Sandwich, and it was a real treat and absolutely delicious. If anyone is ever in the Morales area, stop by and be prepared for the gastronomic delicious delights coming off their grill. I'll say you'll be pleasantly surprised as I most definitely was.
