We were looking for an interesting place to meet my sister and brother for lunch in East Texas. Found this little gem in Edom about 10 miles South of I20 at Van exit. The red velvet chicken and waffles (chicken crust is red velvet cake batter) is amazing. The fried meatloaf is equally top shelf. Finally, the chicken fried steak is also can't miss. Cool vibe in this little hidden jewel of a town. Tell Lauren I sent you! 😁
Great spot! Everyone at our table raved about their food and the service was stellar. Thank you for a delicious dinner! oh, don't forget dessert, Creme Brulee was amazing! 😋
We have only been there once, but we met the owner and he was very friendly. The chicken fried stake and potatoes were amazing!
There are a lot of small art and antique shops around it. We are going back on a Saturday morning to walk the town and visit the shops.
