Sammy G’s Bar & Grill – El Lago, TX

Sammy G’s is hands-down one of the best spots for waterfront dining in El Lago, TX. The food is always fresh, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the view over Clear Lake is unbeatable.

I ordered the fish tacos and ceviche — both were delicious and tasted super fresh. The cocktails are great too, especially when you’re sitting outside watching the sunset.

The service was friendly and fast, and I love that the patio is dog-friendly. You can even come by boat, which makes it perfect for a weekend hangout.

If you’re looking for a casual waterfront restaurant near Clear Lake with great food, drinks, and a laid-back vibe, Sammy G’s Bar & Grill is the place to go. Highly recommend!

This is a great spot to stop by and get together with family and friends or even just to grab a bite and enjoy good music, food, and drinks alone. I have made great connections with many of the bartenders and servers, even the management Evan and owner Sam. Always welcoming. Food is great and the drinks are so good Shout out to Audrie she is always a delight to have as a bartender!

Zac did an amazing job serving us highly recommend him! The food and atmosphere were both great, and the owner’s an awesome guy too. You can come by boat or car, which makes it even better. There aren’t many spots around Clear Lake where you can enjoy good drinks, great food, and a chill vibe like this one. Definitely worth checking out!
