I had a large group party (60 people) scheduled to visit Valdo's. The staff and owner, Victor, were amazing to work with. They were prepared, had menu options translated for our party, had signage to welcome them, and that was walking in the door. The service from the staff was impeccable, even with a language barrier for the majority of the group. The food was outstanding, from the appearance and presentation to the temperature, we couldn't have been happier! I would highly recommend Valdo's, and I can't wait until our next visit.

I don't know why we don't come here more often. Everything we've ever had here has always been fantastic.

Friendly, airy restaurant with an expansive menu. The fried green tomatoes were excellent. The bread was served warm and soft. The veggie pasta was filled with a wide variety of vegetables.

Recently, my visit to Valdos in the Seabrook area left quite an impression. We went to Seabrook to dine at another restaurant we frequent but they were out of stock on some items and was serving a limited menu that day so we decided to try some place new. In search of a seafood dining experience, Valdos had great reviews so we gave them a try. The ambiance, though not extravagant, was comfortable, and despite the rainy weather, the patio overlooking the water seemed inviting. My husband opted for the stuffed flounder, prepared blackened with a side of mixed veggies, and it exceeded expectations. The dish was a clear winner, and I'm already eyeing it for my next visit. On my plate was the seafood platter accompanied by onion rings. While everything was cooked to perfection, the catfish fell short, I didn't care for the mushy texture. However, the shrimp were very good and the onions ring were exceptional. Next time, I'll steer clear of fried options, leaning towards their grilled or blackened offerings. For dessert, we indulged in the bread pudding, which was equally exceptional. And to complement the meal, one of the waitstaff recommended a margarita that was simply divine, ranking among the best I've tasted, I just can't recall the name.Overall, the food was superb and the service was top-notch. Valdos certainly warrants a return visit, looking forward to trying more of their dishes and dining on the patio.

Wish I had taken a photo before I inhaled my food but everything looked so good I couldn’t wait.Took a day trip from north Houston for some fresh seafood that far exceeded our expectations. Mainly came for raw oysters but after seeing the extensive lunch menu, we settled on the blackened snapper special ($14) and seared salmon salad ($16)Great portions, everything tasted fresh and well seasoned and great house margaritas ($7) ! Plus it was easy to find parking which can always be a hassle.

Valdosta used to have the best crab cakes. We had crab cakes there last week and they were so bad. They were mealy and had pieces of salmon and some tiny shrimp in them. Awful

Majority of the Food wasn't that great. One of the fish dishes was way overcooked. There were only 2 other tables with people and service was terrible.

Amazing seafood! Had crab cakes and stuffed shrimp, best I’ve had in a long time! Almond crusted snapper was delicious! I’m picky about seafood(originally from Louisiana) and have found very few places that do it well. What a great place!! Only one time the place smelled fishy, but has consistently served great food!

I have been eating here for 10 years and they have the most unique and delicious food. My favorite dish is there baked whole red snapper with shrimp and crab topping. Their salad has cantaloupe, pineapple and grapes in it. With a vinaigrette sauce. It is wonderful! The bread is served hot and the butter soft! What more do you want. I eat here often and will always come back.

It’s average - Baja Salmon and Stuffed Mahi Mahi tasted box frozen - Salmon was dry….food tasted canned or box frozen, not fresh. Outside of the food, the waiter was great.
