On the food side, Onion rings were very soggy like if they were old or oiled down to much.
All in all not bad for a new opening drive-in dinner.

in drive thru for 30 minutes They gave us the wrong order and didn’t realize till 3 minutes later after we had already touched the bag, gave us the wrong grilled cheese order, charged another order to our card, gave us the wrong drinks & the girl was laughing about it

They need to work on the chicken tenders. Way too small.!
Ordered the "smash burger" but it was just two regular patties. If you can't make a smashed burger just tell the customer you don't know how to make one.
This location is extremely unprofessional. We just stopped by for 2 drinks a coke & a mango slushie. When ordering there was a girl laughing in the background. After ordering we been sitting waiting for 20-25 min I believe for just two drinks?? & We never got them so we left disappointed. I would have left it slide if it was food which is more understanding , but it’s just 2 drinks?? & the laughing gave it away. I don’t recommend this place.

Sonic has a special place in my heart, since I worked as a carhop back in 1977-78 in Edinburg. I was very excited when this new Sonic opened in Elsa, TX.
However, I have been disappointed lately... The last two times, I have ordered a Frito Pie and then three days later, I ordered Tater Tots with chili cheese and requested extra cheese. The food was cold as well. My daughter got a Hamburger combo, and she said it was semi-cold.
The frito pie was dry; hardly any chili or cheese in it; too many dry frito chips. I felt like I was eating chips from the bag. The tater-tots had extra cheese compared to my husbands order, except mine didn't have any chili in it.
From what I am hearing, many people are disappointed with Sonic lately. Now, I don't know why Sonic is cutting on the food quantity, or the cooks are not doing a good job, but let me tell you, your losing customers and we are going back to Stars.
