Great food! Everything fresh! Everything had so much flavor and was made fresh. Highly recommend the pecan fried chicken.

What a nice place. Love this road side diner. The rosemary grilled chicken was well seasoned and perfectly grilled (tender). Creamy mashed potatoes and green beans and the roll all made fresh.
Wife had the pecan fried chicken. The pecans were sweet to the taste.
Highly recommend.

I don’t usually write reviews but I found myself about 10 miles from Ennis today and since it was about 11:30 am, I drove the 10 extra miles to try to find somewhere to have coffee & a late breakfast. And, after googling restaurants in the area (& reading some good reviews), I settled on Bailey’s Cafe, even tho they had stopped serving breakfast at 11:00, & I have to tell you, they did not disappoint! It’s a quaint lil restaurant with great service & excellent food! I ordered the pecan crusted chicken & it was delicious. My only regret is that I didn’t get a slice of the german chocolate cake to go, since i was way too full to eat it there. So, if you are in that area & looking for a great place to eat with reasonable prices & generous portions, give them a try. You won’t regret it!!

I ordered a hamburger steak. Simple and easy. I’m very saddened that the burger itself was drowned in oil, which made it flavorless. My okra looks like either the oil needs to badly be changed or over cooked rocks.

I've been living in Ennis for almost 3yrs and I wish I had been here sooner. The prices are unmatched for the well-made food. Everything we ordered was 100 times better than chain restaurants. The service was exceptional and we felt welcomed and appreciated the entire time. A true Ennis local gem.

Pecan crusted chicken was delicious.
Not a lot of parking, but this is a small country town. We use the empty lot across the street and walk. That's how good this down-home is!!! Enjoy a chicken fried steak sandwich if you're hungry.

Very nice small restaurant. Great food and service. Owner made sure everyone was happy with food and welcomed us back. Onion rings were homemade and Tuna was amazing. Sweet tea was as it should be in the south. A must stop.
Dietary restrictions: I can’t eat fries and they let me get corn

We are so lucky to have found this place on our trip from Houston to Dallas. We stopped on a Sunday and the decor certainly had the "Sunday" vibe. I ordered a BLT and it was the best I ever had. The onion rings were out of this world.

Good portions and service. Had the chicken fried steak, it was a little over salted, but the mashed potatoes, salad and soup was very good.
