I first encountered Buna Bean Coffee three years ago through Fresh Market Coffee in Waxahachie, TX. I was skeptical to be told that the beans came from a family roaster in Ennis, a town better known for blue bells. But, Fresh Market Coffee was dead-on; Buna Bean coffee is excellent. I have since moved away from Waxahachie, but I still order Buna Bean coffee. They roast coffee as orders come in so you are sure to receive only the freshest beans. They have tremendous regional variety and their prices are very fair.

I received some beans as a gift and was blown away with the freshness! I'm ordering them again!

Absolutely love their coffee! I recommend the "Derailer" for those who like their coffee strong. Another one I like to serve my guest is the "Sugar Skull" it has light notes of chocolate and is very tasty as is! I just tried their cold brew as I'm writing this review (July 18, 2018 at 11:00 PM) and it's amazing. Being a new parent, I think I found the remedy that will get me through this new journey that I have been blessed with. The best part about the cold brew is it comes in bottles, so when it's late and I have a friend or two over it just looks like I'm sippin' on a beer, but Lord knows that cold brew is going have a great deal more use to me than any alcoholic beverage, also it blends in and gives it that vibe. The coffee shop in town, Pop Top, is very good too and uses Buna Bean as well. So if you just want to try a cup before you buy you can catch a cup there. The owner is really sweet and very knowledgeable over the trait. You can also catch a sample in Whole Foods usually depending on if the roaster, Lisa Sohns, is in. If she has a demo go ahead and try a cup. Since she does the roasting she can tell you everything about everything from where beans come from to how they ended up in you cup!
