Don Jose's is a nice restaurant with friendly staff. I give the food a 9 out of 10, the roasted potatoes and steamed veggies were great, the grilled chicken was a little dry. My wife said her food was excellent. This was my first time here and I will return and possibly update my review. I still highly recommend.

Beef Fajitas meat was very thin and meat was dry $20.00 for plate for one person, I thought was high. Quesadillas tasted horrible, like something was wrong with the meat or cheese was bad. Chips and salsa was late, everyones drink was empty and we didn’t get a refill until we were almost done with our food, I asked for a refill on salsa but it never came. Gratuity was added in since we had a table of 7 but had 2 separate tickets. The heat in our setting area was hot and the stereo music was a little loud but bearable. There were people waiting to get a table and there were 4 or 5 empty tables around us the whole time we were there that know one was cleaning. Basically the food wasn’t great, a super slow waitress, non existent buss boy, overpriced menu and I paid a already added tip for no service and bad food. My group never complained once, we just ate and left.

Waited almost 30 min just to get water, almost 2 hrs for food l, excuse was they are busy but restaurant was more than half empty, food was mid (stingy with meat) and To top it all off my wife got food poisoning.
Meal was ordered for pickup for 6:00. Missing food, wrong items and food wasn’t out until 6:40

This was my first time to this restaurant. I went to the one in waxahachie years ago all the time until it closed. The food was excellent, and the service was awesome. They have the best cheese dip around. I could just eat that stuff all day. The hot sauce was good, no complaints about anything. This place is my new favorite place to eat. Good variety of menu choices. We not disappointed at all. You need to try this place out for sure. God bless!
