Had a party of 10 and had to send 3 of the main courses back to be fixed along with sides and they rarely came back to check on us but didn't mind cashing in our 300$ for the dinner we tried to enjoy yall making great it really hard to come back again this is the second time we've been there and twice now problems

I ordered caldo to go and was extremely satisfied. I had an order of the warm hot sauce and cheese. I have to admit only place caldo is served anytime and good. I visit this location about once a month.
Food was okay service was terrible. Every time I come to this restaurant I get the same thing and it’s served to me the way i request it. El Mexicano Plate, mixed meat, rice, charro beans, and flour tortillas (3).
However this time our serve(can’t remember her name, but we’ve had her before, all I know is she wears glasses and had her hair in a mid-bun and usually works patio) brings out our sides and tortillas that come with the meal first and I don’t bother to check it because I’m expecting it to be flour. Once the rest of our food comes to the table I open my tortillas and see its two flour and two corn which I thought was strange and think maybe she put the other corn in their for my husband even though he said no tortillas.
When my husband gets her attention I told her I was missing a tortilla and she then proceeded to tell me “no you ordered both when I asked which tortillas you wanted” and I corrected her by saying I wanted both meats and for the tortillas to be flour. She then started over explaining how many tortillas I get for both kinds and passive aggressively asked if I wanted one extra tortillas or for her ring up an extra 3 more. I asked can I just have two more instead of all three and she responded back “no do you want one, three, or none at all?”
Thankfully my husband stepped in and said put another order in for 3 flour tortillas. When we got the check we were surprised yet happy to see we weren’t charged for an extra thing of tortillas.
This isn’t even about the tortillas it’s about how terrible the service has become and how some of the severs don’t want to take accountability for their mistakes.

We have tried every Mexican restaurant in Ennis and this is by far the best. The service was fast and friendly. Our bill was about $140 and we had poblano fajitas, a mochajete and appetizer queso dip

Our family has ordered from Mexicano Grill many times and we’ve always enjoyed their food. Unfortunately, the customer service has gone downhill, and today’s experience was very upsetting.
We placed our usual order and added an extra chips & salsa with the warm orange salsa. When the salsa didn’t arrive, we called to ask if we could pick it up or receive a refund. Instead of helping us, the manager was extremely rude, defensive, and unwilling to listen. They insisted we could not pick up the salsa that we clearly paid for and then refused to issue a refund, telling us to “take it up with DoorDash” even though this was a restaurant mistake.
It shouldn’t be a problem to fix a $4.99 salsa, especially for a regular customer. Mistakes happen — but how you treat customers matters more. The male manager showed zero professionalism and seemed more concerned with not being “wrong” than doing what was right.
Sadly, this experience has cost them a loyal customer.

Horrible food. I told the waitress the chicken tasted odd. She said she was speak to the cook. We did not touch our food after the first bite. She came back and ask if we wanted a to go box because we had not eaten our food. We told her no, the chicken tasted spoiled. The next time we see her 30 minutes later, she brings us a ticket for 48.00. I will never go back. They use to have great food but not anymore. It was nasty. Looked like the hot sauce had oil in it.

Overpriced average Mexican food. We came in with 3 adults and 4 kids, bill came to $180. The automatically charged gratuity, didn’t even give us the option. Service was ok not terrible, but we asked for extra cheese and tortillas for the fajitas. Because it only came with 3. My daughter asked her after we got the bill to closeout, they were petty enough to bring us a separate check for the cheese and tortillas. After we just spent almost $200. Stay away from this place!!!
