I wanted breakfast but we were too late so we opted for the Fern in the Wild due to its high ratings. Well it did not disappoint! We had the Chicken salad Sandwich and the Artichoke dip. Wow!! Fresh, homemade and delicious! The chips that came with the sandwich were paper thin and freshly fried. NOT greasy but perfect!! There is too much to say about this place, the atmosphere and the town in small town USA to mention in a post! I encourage anyone who is visiting the Dallas area and looking for a cool and Immersion experience to stop here. WOW!!!

Fern in the Wild offers a delightful dining experience that caters to every meal of the day, making it a versatile spot for food enthusiasts and casual diners alike. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between rustic charm and modern elegance, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that offers everything from coffee to cocktails. An added gem is the onsite boutique store, which is a treasure trove of unique items. We were in town for TX2K and this was our lunch spot of choice for multiple days, by far one of the best meals and drinks ive had in a long time and our entire company loved it. We tried majority of the menu and everything was a 10/10. The staff was awesome and accommodating. Bonus points for their speakeasy bar they have upstairs for later in the day. Best espresso martinis

This place is one of the coolest places in ennis tx. We detailed the owners suv for her and got to check the place out for a minute. It's a really cool coffee style restaurant/cafe on one side and a cool lil store on the other. The lady at the bar also said they have a speak easy upstairs, which was hidden by a door in the wall that you couldn't even tell was there. Just a really awesome joint to check out. A must go to when in ennis. Great Town photo opps right outside as well.

We are from out of town. We go to Wortham once or twice a year for business. We were heading in to Corsicana for supplies. We did a Yelp search for restaurants in Corsicana. Because Fern was sponsored, it showed up, even though it was in Ennis. So glad that it did! It was worth the 25 minute drive out of our way. Our server, Ben, was awesome! The restaurant had a nice classy luncheon vibe. They had a decent beer and wine selection. We started with the avocado toast with a poached egg on top. Delicious. Then my husband and I split two sandwiches....the blackberry BLT and the patty melt (add bacon and mushrooms, per Ben). Both were great! We finished our meal with one piece of chocolate cake and two glasses of tawny port. The cake was wonderful. It was sort of a deconstructed s'more with toasted marshmallow and graham cracker crumbles. All in all, a delectable meal at a decent price. So glad that this was a "sponsored" restaurant, because we never would have found it otherwise. We will be back.
