Delicious food. I ordered the crispy taco plate . Friendly people. The chips and salsa are fresh. My other friends ordered Tempequenia plate (something like that) and they were great. The tortilla is the best.Parking: Plenty of parking.
I stumbled across this place. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.I ordered the Chilaquiles. It came with a lightly spiced red sauce, scrambled with eggs and bits of corn tortilla and mozeralla on the top.The table salsa was so enjoyable. Not heavy with cilantro like a lot of places and the chips were thicker and fresh.The flour Tortilla was hearty and cooked just how I lime them. Slightly brown/golden.The home fried potatoes were cooked to perfection and not overly salty.I'll definitely be going back!

This was my first time here and I understand why many people like it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You can tell the tortillas are freshly made. The salsa and chips have good flavor, not spicy though as I was hoping for. I had the Eggs Ranchero's with potatoes and bacon. The eggs were cooked perfectly, over easy. I would like to go again to try their other dishes.

Just Passin Through 2024: if you're passin' through Ennis TX on your way to somewhere stop and see Hilda. The food is excellent. I had the chilaquiles and had them add chorizo. Had I known how good the refried beans were I'd have skipped the potatoes and asked for double beans. Hubs had eggs Mexicana with chorizo added. Also excellent. The chips and salsa are great as are their coffee and sweet tea. Homemade tortillas is the bonus. We got Hilda herself tableside, perhaps the biggest bonus of all. Don't pass this place up.

The chips and salsa are bomb... except they are only free with meal if you eat inside.The sweet tea was so delish.I ordered migas mixed with bacon, beans && papa's on the side. Homemade tortillas came out as well. They were all so good.

Loved the atmosphere.. the tables had beautiful designs on them . You are greeted when walking in . We ordered huevos rancheros and they we really good the salsa on top was perfect and so we're the potatoes had a nice crisp to them. My husband had pork chops and eggs which he enjoyed as well.. I enjoyed coffee..and he grabbed a jarrito.. they served breakfast all day so it was just what we wanted at 1:00 pm.. the chips and salsa were very good too . We will definitely be going back
