There are bugs in their soda machines and they don't do anything about it.This was awhile back and I'm sorry for the delay in posting but a customer pointed out that his sidt drink was full of bugs (I saw this as well). The cashier actually told him that the bugs must have flown into his drink.So instead of investigating and...CLEANING the machine, they gaslit their customers when there was a clear issue.I also brought this up with the gas station cashier and nothing happened.Be careful ordering here.

What an amazing location. Conveniently located off the highway on my way back from a road trip from Dallas to Houston. This location is attached to a gas station which was super convenient. The Steak ‘n Shake portion was super clean and neat. The tables were all clean, and the employees were both super friendly and super professional. My wife and I both ordered the Garlic Doubles and 100% Chef’s Kiss Delicious. Just how I remembered them when I lived in Kansas City. I’ll definitely be making a pit stop back on my next road trip.

Customer service was good however both burgers were not prepared how I ordered them. They did not have enough onion rings to complete my large order so I was offered fries to complete the large order of onion rings. Didn’t expect the fries to be on top of my onion rings in the same carton. Wasn’t pleased with our meal. Didn’t take any pics because we threw our entire bag in the garbage at our next stop. This was our first experience eating at a steak and shake and the experience overall I give a 2.

Not like it used to be. Missing signature items from the menu. Burgers now are just plan smash Burgers. Food came out way before the shakes. Poor timing for someone trying to enjoy a meal.Parking: Shared with a gas station.
