This is a home style cooked restaurant and leaves you absolutely pleased with not only the delicious food but the most amazing customer service! My wife and I visited for the first time today about 10:30am. I had searched Google for Best Breakfast near me. I had every intention of getting an omelet but when my wife ordered chicken fried steak my brain thought “meat”. The salad was great! Simple fresh salad with lettuce, cheese, tomato, and cucumbers. The ranch was on point. My wife got the mac & cheese as her side and it was just like her mom makes, perfect. The chicken fried steak was good, not sure how I feel about the gravy though, I think just regular white gravy would’ve been better. Something to fufu for me. It was a little busy at the time we visited which I assume is the reason it took a bit for my wife to get a refill on her sweet tea, which she said was really good sweet tea. My glass was less than half full being less than half way through my meal. I was never asked for a refill. This place is a great little find for us. We will be back, I hope to try breakfast next time. Thanks y’all!

We found this place after raccoons stole our food at Purtis Creek. Coffee was great, and the breakfast was just what we needed! Big portions, filled three teenage boys up! The staff is what really makes this place! Really friendly service!

Food is ok. We go for breakfast. The staff are very friendly. It can get noisy from all the people which is expected.
Response to owner: I do not give out 5 because 5 means perfect and I have hardly ever had a perfect meal anywhere. We only get breakfast at The Roost. There is always something wrong with the meal. Either the eggs are not cooked as requested, the hashbrowns are either overcooked or not hot, or the biscuit is overcooked or not hot. None of it stops us from eating it but that is why I gave a 3. As far as the noise, As I stated it is expected specially in the wide open room everyone is in. Some days it is hard to hear my wife but again that does not stop us from going.

Pack cakes were a very nice size and good tasting. The person with the over easy egg was Lacy, a result of too much heat. The person with the scrambled egg. Egg worked so much it was almost egg dust and crumbs. Almost needed a spoon to eat the egg. But would give it an additional try. Maybe the regular cook was out....
