We recently moved to the neighborhood and I tried to eat here twice but did not have the chance either time. The first time I stopped by the place was “locked out” because they hadn’t paid their rent. The second time, I walked in with my family during normal dinner hours and we stood inside at the front for a minute. There was no hostess, no sign to seat yourself, no one acknowledged our presence, and no one was seated at dining tables (only at the bar), so we walked back out and decided to not try a third time.

I've lived in Fair Oaks Ranch for a few years and had never been here due to neighbors saying it is not good. I decided to give them a shot. Never again!! Food was absolutely horrible and very overpriced! The $18 "Chicken Fried Steak" is literally frozen patties like the kind u get from Sam's. "Fettuccine Alfredo" was spaghetti noodles and not Fettuccine. Mac and cheese was gross and flavorless! Place smells old and musty and u leave smelling like oil. The only good thing I can say about Conroys is that the staff was very friendly and nice! I will cross this place off the list and never return.

I think Conroys Irish Pub definitely upped its game. Food and drinks were great. We definitely will come back to hopefully raise the stars. Just had the Tuesday tacos and very filling. Definitely coming

This is a quaint, safe establishment with a diverse, mature adult population. It is a hidden gem with tons of potential. Great beer, hard alcohol, and food choices. More solid live musical talent would make this spot more popular.

So... I'm from MA where there are Irish pubs / restaurants everywhere. I saw Conroy's and I figured, WTH, let's try it. Did not have high hopes for an Irish pub in San Antonio. WOW was I wrong. The drinks were AWESOME, finally a bar that makes drinks you could actually taste! The owner came to the table ad shot the bull with us for a few minutes. The onion rings were the best I have ever had, they were thick! They have awesome specials every day too! We tried the Sheppard's Pie and the Meatloaf, seriously the best I have had since I moved here 24 years ago! We will without a doubt come back. I also asked for a side of Mac and Cheese with my meal on the side, they forgot about it, but I was not worried since I was SO full. To our surprise, when the check was brought, an enormous bowl was given to us and we were not charged for it. Not only are the food and drinks awesome, the customer service is top notch!

The service is slow. The food is better than it has been in the past, but not consistent.
Great neighborhood pub. Food is very good. Most every employee has been friendly and helpful. 3 stars on atmosphere because the restaurant needs a detailer to tighten up on cleanliness. Pool table area could use new cues, hand and cue chalk. Outdoor area is dirty, disheveled and seemingly overlooked.

Came in at 9:30 to order some drinks and food. Waitress never came over. Finally ordered at the bar to be told the kitchen closes at 10. It was 10:05. We left. Never again.

Loved this place, the atmosphere was amazing and it was the only place open late enough for us to swing by and grab some drinks. Open til’ 2 AM! Kiley was our bartender, and she was amazing, so sweet and very entertaining to talk to, and this is coming from a woman! She made sure everyone was having a good time, and her drinks were amazing. I order a screwdriver everywhere I go, and this is the best I’ve had out of the hundreds of places I’ve had one. Very cheap prices too, good drinks won’t be hurting the bank here. Too bad we’re from out of state, or this would be our go-to bar and dinner spot for a late night. 11/10, next time I’m in Texas, this is our first stop!! ❤️
Kid-friendliness: In the early hours, (before 10PM when the kitchen closes) this is a fine place to take kids seeing as it is a restaurant and not just a bar.

Irish by name, nothing else we saw. Seldom service, even ignored at bar with card in hand when went to pay, margarita was more lime a thing, quesadilla bla even canned jalapeños were bla. Couple 7-9 years old at pool table, was Friday 7pm. Music maybe jukebox was all over the place. Tables were clean.
