This is a good old fashioned American Diner to ear at on a road trip. The restaurant is kept clean and service was good. My crackers were stale and my waitress brought a fresh batch right away and those were good. My chicken pot pie wasn’t exactly what I expected but everyone has their own recipe. My husband’s chicken fried steak was very good. All the sides we ordered were tasty - mashed potatoes, fried onion rings, French fries, fried okra. Very likely to stop again...

Definitely worth checking out. Been here a couple of times recently. The food is actually fantastic. Service & atmosphere are good. Servers are professional & adequate but not super welcoming or attentive.
Onion rings are the secret here. One order was very good, other order was possibly the best I have ever had. Fajita beef was very tender & flavorful. Honestly, this is one of only a couple of places in Fairfield that actually has great food.

Our waitress was kalrissa or something with a K Was super nice and helpful, it was our first time there. Even though we been to Fairfield many times just never gave this place a chance. But it was worth it. Prices and portions were great. Would definitely be back.
