We had never been to a Whataburger and there was one at the gas station off 45 in Fairfield, TX. It looks brand new & we did the drive thru. I think the approach lane to the pay & pick up lane needs some adjustment as it's a pretty tight fit. The truck behind us had to back out to get enough room.
But, the food is great for a fast food option. The honey butter wings were a favorite!

I wish there were more Whataburgers in or near truck stops. I'm a long distance truck driver. BKs have discontinued giving senior discounts. I used to breakfast across the highway at BK. But this place is much better.

I asked for extra onions and no pickles on two burgers and got no onions and extra pickles. lol
They also gave me, a bbq chicken melt instead of a jalapeno burger.
Tried to suggest remaking one burger that was missing instead of tossing my entire order and remaking it.
Which I would have finished, even wrong, since I can take pickles off...
