Visited this location yesterday. Ordered the whiskey sour. Never had a whiskey sour that tasted as bad as this. You need to get a new bartender if this is how he makes a poplar cocktail such as whiskey sour. Didn't care to order anything else!

This place is not barrel & bones anymore. Even though the B&B sign is still out front, it’s still turned into some sort of an Italian restaurant.

This restaurant has become our workplace obsession. We have never been disappointed with the food we order and they have great staff. We all become regulars and I always recommend this place for good local and reasonably priced meals.

Went in for late lunch, ordered the big text without sour cream.

My baked potato was super undercooked !
They didn’t put any onion rings on it like it supposed to come with!
The brisket was just okay. Kinda chewy
And the bacon tasted bad.

And again super undercooked so you can barely eat any of it even if you wanted too.

Wouldn’t recommend especially for $20

Well, one might say that my first mistake was ordering through DoorDash, but a girl has got to work and leaving for lunch just isn't possible all the time. So, I thought I'd give B&B a try. I ordered the Pork Belly Banh Mi sandwich with fried okra instead (which i did not get ) of fries. I also ordered their Pit Master sandwich, no bun, with baked beans. The fries I didn't ask for, were super greasy and hollow on the inside, I imagine the fried okra would have turned out the same. The baked beans had an awful aluminum taste on the back end. Never again! The brisket and jalapeno sausage was dry on the Pit master and the onion rings that came on top were also super greasy. I did however eat the Banh Mi sandwich. It's description on the menu was very much exaggerated because what I actually tasted was fair to Midland. There was no zing or zesty flavor coming from the slaw but the pork belly meat itself was ok. I was starving so I ate that. Everything else is at the bottom of the trash can. I doubt very much the experience would have been any different had I gone in for a sit down lunch. Very disappointed. Also, when I called to speak to someone about my order...you have to leave a message. No one answers. It's sad because I work across the highway at 635 & Luna and there are tons of people I work with. I would've loved to have shared a positive experience. I didn't think to take pictures until after I'd thrown most of it away.

Walked into Barrel and bones to get a loaded potato. Was forced to walk to a back area. Which was just a different restaurant. Had no idea if I was in the right place or not. Got the potato to go. When I got to my hotel (5 minutes away) my potato has no butter and was HARD. The only good thing about the food was the brisket. Hard to find a decent spot for a loaded potato

Ordered the full rack of spare ribs. Recieved a half rack of st. Louis style ribs absolutely smothered in a sweet sauce. Asked for the rest of my order with out the sauce on in. And I got the other half rack of st Louis style ribs I realized why they had to smother it in sauce. It was over cooked and dry as hell. Then was charged for the higher price for 2 half racks.

Bbq and mexican, Great idea on the concept. They are working through early stages and very eager to please their customers.

Gave this place 2 tries. First night ordered the pastrami. Got brisket instead. Brisket was good but not what I ordered. Server told me I was wrong and it was not brisket.
Returned the next night with others. Same server told me I was actually correct the previous night. This time she brought me a sample of what they call pastrami. Everyone at my table agreed it was brisket. So I ordered turkey and potato salad. She brought me chicken and Cole slaw and told me I made the mistake.

Everything I ate was good it was just nothing I ever ordered. Probably won’t return not because of quality of food just would like to get what I actually order.

Zero complaints. Diverse menu, cool drinks and great service. We are barbecue snobs and had no input for what we ordered. Smoked chicken was so juicy, half rack of ribs was too much for our 16 year old athlete to finish (which speaks volumes) and the quesabirria tacos with the green sauce were amazing. We were on the fence with the sides being $7 each, but we ordered the mac and cheese and elotes and it was more than enough for the 3 of us to share. Service and atmosphere was a 10/10 as well.

My wife and I have stopped by for dinner but have only actually eaten there once: its opening weekend. That night the music was way too loud and the food was mid. We have stopped by since and there was no staff out front to greet or seat us so we left. Oh well. The good news is we found Bugatti Ristorante nearby which is outstanding!
