I had a mixed experience at Crossbuck’s BBQ. The service was great, and the staff was friendly. The atmosphere was nice too. But the BBQ itself needs a lot of work. Everything I tried was just plain bad. The mac and cheese was flavorless, and the brisket was dry and lacked any defining qualities. I usually eat Terry Blacks when I’m in the mood for bbq, but I was in a hurry and tried something else.

Burnt ends way over cooked, stringy and served in a homemade liquid that deflects from the natural smoke flavor. Beans kinda bland. I tried this place 3 times. Sorry....
You replied in defense...I was there 1/30 around 1:30 for lunch. For you to reply that I didn't experience sub-par food is an understatement. The Burnt ends were stingy, overcooked and chewy. I get your not liking my comment but from the first bite, I should have said something. Go ahead and say this is another fake comment, I'd be defensive too.... I'll move on

Tried this place on a whim. It was really really good. I know there is lots of BBQ places here in town but this was excellent. Their coleslaw is outstanding! But the meat was awesome! Pork with Hoisen sauce( not normal but excellent!). Sausage, Brisket and burnt ends—- all great. Just come here
Ribs were not good, not terrible either but not exciting at all. Atmosphere was nice and service was great.

The slice beef brisket sandwich was excellent. I had the hominy as a side and it was delicious as well. I have been wanting to stop by this BBQ place for awhile. Worth the trip!

Always on point at Crossbuck! We love coming here for lunch or dinner and have had several “after kid’s games” outings with friends here. My kids are obsessed with the Mac and cheese and brisket burnt ends. Rightfully so, it’s all delicious! Service was nice as always, too.
Have been a few times and my family really enjoys this place when we’re craving BBQ. Some of our favorites: beef ribs, brisket, burnt ends and mac&cheese. Staff is always friendly when we go. Recommend you check it out if you’re looking for a good bbq place.

I see that we were not the only one very disappointed. When we arrived last night they were having a private party. Checking the website they said they were open. They had no signage on the door either. Not a good way to do business.
Baked beans were very different but in a bad way. Ribs kind of salty and mac was ok.
People who work there were great though.
