Food was good , customer service was okay but it very unpleasant to eat in cause it hot . We asked the employee to turn the ac down or on and he said it was broke . We had to leave because we were sweating. It was cooler outside.
We ordered online in the app and took about 15 minutes to arrive. Once we got there we let them know we had an order. They asked for our name and let them know. They looked and couldn't find the order.
We showed them in the app the confirmation number, the order, the location it showed that matched where we were. All we were continually told was that they didn't have it in their system.
I asked what we could do or could be done. The only answer was that they didn't have it in their system.
My wife was upset at the total lack of helpfulness complained that they weren't being helpful and left. The worker said that there was no reason for my wife to treat them that way even though my wife didn't say anything specifically about the employee apart from them not wanting to do anything to help.
The employee then said that they couldn't do anything and that they were just an employee.
When my wife went back in to ask for her name and store number the same person said that they were the manager of the store. Coming from a family where several were managers of anywhere from fast food to entire oil refineries, these are not the actions of a manager.
We did everything to show in good faith that what we ordered was what we were asking for with proof of purchase and location in the app. This was verified by the person who later claimed to be the manager of the store.
I'm guessing that any orders that have no problem go off fine but I hope no one else ever has any issues with an order at this location.
As usual I will also leave comments in general.
The restaurant was kept up fairly well. No obvious damage or problems in the store itself.
Parking was easy but not sure if this is because they don't do a lot of business or if it is this way usually. It was a Saturday evening but I saw a whole 3 people visiting while there.
The employees were incompetent at best and don't really care about the customer. I might not be quite so harsh if I hadn't seen such good customer service on that same day at several other places we had visited. Not friendly, not attentive, slow, disrespectful, and seemed like they only wanted us to go away..
I did not visit the restroom so I can't say how it was.
The food........ Well if you don't know by now I never got to taste any since they didn't want to give us the food we paid for.
If staff changes over I'd go again but not any time soon.

I like their sandwiches but was shocked how expensive it became. I understand rising cost and don't blame the restaurant owners. But at $12 for a small sandwich meal I do have other options as well. It was quiet and clean.

ABSOLUTELY hands-down the worst lunch spot on Midway. I should have known better when pulling up to this location during lunch hour, and only seeing two cars out front. Placed my order online for the pastrami and Swiss giant sandwich, went to pick it up assuming they would make it like it was pictured on the app, got home, opened the container, and it’s not on pumpernickel, but sourdough, and the meat was incredibly thin. Had to call them three times before someone would pick up, and the person who answered the phone first said they don't have pumpernickel bread, then she blamed me for ordering sourdough. Told me the manager Manuela would be in tomorrow, like I have time to deal with this crap.

I cannot stress enough how important it is to have workers with honesty and integrity. When paying in cash here (location on Midway Rd) please get your receipt. Veronica and another cashier couldn’t come up with the receipt from my order and I requested it only to be told they “couldn’t find it.” So the order was rang in again only to have a cheaper price than I paid. First order was $8.64 and when I asked for the receipt it was $7.57. Very concerning considering I had received my meal and walked out and instantly back in when I realized the receipt wasn’t in the bag.

Ordered a small original no tomato, told twice and that it was an allergy. Still has fresh tomato on it. Tried calling the number listed but no answer, actually said it was an inaccurate number. This isn't the first time. It's frustrating to have food allergies that actually cause anaphylaxis. However, to be more honest repeating yourself to restaurant staff only to have the order inaccurate with no way other than to drive back up to the restaurant to communicate, leaves me even more frustrated. :(

When I walked in the store, both employees were sitting in the dining area on their phones. Neither one greeted me. The male employee walked behind the counter and just looked at me. I ordered my food, he told me the total, then handed me the chips and cups.
After he took my order, he walked to the back to talk with the female employee who was making the food.
There was only one medium-sized lid left and I had two medium cups. Another customer came in and the male employee came to take the customer’s order. After the employee was done, I asked him if there were more medium lids. He looked around and said no. No offer to give me a bigger cup or anything, so I asked for another cup so my drink wouldn’t spill out. I didn’t want more of the beverage; just the ability to put a lid on.
When my food was ready, the male employee brought it to the counter, looked at me, and just set it on the counter. Still no conversation, no thank you for coming, nothing.
The food was decent. That’s the only reason I’m giving three stars. I wouldn’t return to this location based on the terrible service. Paying $30 for two meals at a place where the employees can’t even greet you isn’t worth it.

Ordered ahead the day before in the app. Order confirmed, all is good.
The next day I get an email 10 minutes AFTER scheduled pickup time as I was on the the way saying, in as many words, that the order never went through and asking me to call the store to confirm if the order got through. I was already almost there so I kept going. Upon arrival I was told there's nothing to pickup.
Mostly likely no fault of the location itself, but the app is absolutely hot garbage. If I can't order ahead, don't give me the option and put a hold on my credit card. Terrible experience resulting in no food at all plus a charge that will fall off my card eventually (allegedly).

5 Stars for their $5 Pizza special for on friday, saturday and sunday pizza.
1* for atmosphere and their website.
Website says it's closed on sunday.. but I'll guarantee if I go over there. It's open! And at least it was last sunday.

I hadn't been there in a while. And had a hankering for their special sandwich.
But they had a $5 dollar half price pizza special?
I normally wouldn't do it, but took a chance and it was delicious!!

Very cordial, considerate and allowed me to substitute black olives for the bacon.
(Note to myself and others) I normally don't order bacon because it's like hard crumbles of bacon bits!
Got one the other day and forgot to say to Hold the bacon and it was large pieces, tender, very tasty bacon. I'll never say hold the bacon again.
Most restaurants now charge for substitution.
And not into customer service and customer satisfaction.. and I think they just dont want to be in convenienced ( or havd to stop texting on their cell phones ) to do something for a customer.
Very good and accommodating service and just a great pizza.
I don't know the guy's name and I think he's a manager, he's been there for quite a while.
The last few times i've been there hadn't been more than one or two tables other than me.
Very slow there and he doesn't stand around or sit texting on his phone.
He's courteous cordial and customer service oriented.. or was cleaning tables that appeared to be clean.
So, I told a very picky friend about the pizza, and we went back another day.. and he actually said it was the best $5 pizza He had ever had in his life!
I said $5 pizza!
WELL, he said, it's not as good as The Egyptian, but it nudges them a little bit. LOL
You would think for $5 it's not very big, but they load it up with cheese and the options.. and we could only eat a little over half, of each of ours and take the rest home!
So it's actually two meals for the price of one.

The owner I knew would never let the place be without air conditioning.
They have 2 small
Auxiliary air conditioners in the whole restaurant! And it's not even hot outside yet . I can't imagine what it'll be like in a few weeks in there.
I sat at the windows and had to move over by the air conditioners . . And there was a difference, but it wasn't very comfortable.
B. I'M BORN AND RAISED IN DALLAS, AND I'VE GOT BOOTS, BUT I'M TELLING YOU.. somebody there must like central restaurant music and you can get enough of trying to enjoy a meal.. and not be forced fed to thinking about getting your dog back, your house back, your truck back and your ring back, your ex wife and mother in law BACK!!!!!...
Sorry but it's not, in my opinion, the best music for background to enjoy a meal.
Unless they want to put sawdust on the floor.
And that kid would be sweeping it up. LOL.
Last time I was there, I ordered 2
for each of my neighbors.. and I'll do it again today because I know they're open.

No wonder I haven't been here in a while...my cinnabon WAS NOT FRESH, it was actually hard....zero customer service. Take out food just isn't the same....smh. IF i do happen to contemplate on eating from Schlotszky's again, I'll remember this and will immediately go somewhere else!!
Always a yummy sandwich and they never mess up when I want to add onions, extra lettuce, or something . A lot of places...you have to check and make sure. They always do it right 🤗
