Just incredible food, atmosphere and value for the price. It was sour first time trying Sri Lankan food and we were just blown away by the taste and variety of flavors. An absolute hidden treasure. The buffet is also an amazing value. Will definitely come back

Great traditional Sri Lankan food. Great flavor, you can get your choice of spice level, and they have everything from vegetarian, fish, beef, chicken, shrimp or lamb.

I have come here multiple times. Every time the owner was very hospitable. I have tried the kottu (chicken) and curry burrito (chicken) and both were ridiculously good. I will continue to bring new friends to this restaurant.

I came in on a Friday evening for dinner. They had a buffet but were also open to take orders from the menu card if we didn't want to use the buffet. There was live music as well and it was pleasant.I am a vegetarian and decided to go to the buffet. There were plenty of options available. The food was uniquely good and very tasty. Mango curry, coconut sambhal, Hoppers, onion sambhal, mango mousse was the star.I will definitely recommend trying this place.(Edited) Adding some more vegetarian options that were part of the buffet in case you are skeptical. If you tell them vegan or vegetarian, they will walk you through the food options:) All you need to do is share your preferences to themNote: There are more to the list but I am adding what I remember.Appetizer:Medhu wadaParrupu wadaVeg cutletBreadKottu porottaChapati/Roti ( two Types )Three types of hoppersRiceWhite riceCurrySambarMango curryVeg CurrySidesPapadVariety of SambhalGreen chutneyTomato chutneyRaitaDesertMango mousseAnd they had 3-4 more, I don't recall names.DrinksCoffeeSome fresheners

DALLAS HAVING THE WORST INDIAN FOOD SCENE in US I had given up on finding anything remotely exciting until I found this Sri Lankan gem. A warm Lankan joint that offered a welcome respite from the mind numbing stale "Desi this " "desi that " joints that dot every corner of north Dallas . Every damn thing from biriyani joints to A2B suffer from soulless , stale , fatty over spiced flavor profile that even people from AP+Telangana have started to disown.Unlike these joints Mohan and crew at zest take pride in their food , it's almost perfect , yes the black chicken curry in Sigiree in NYC is marginally better but the sambals and freshly made appams here are clearly superior..The surprise star of the menu was the unassuming eggplant moju, simply put it is my absolute favorite preparation of this vegetable that I can barely stand done any other way. Even the bloody dal and bread is heartwarming with a slightly imperfect tinge of turmeric that somehow adds to its authenticity .I hope they never buckle under the pressure and stay true to their roots in a city of Indian restaurants that have clearly given up. Until such a day , I will land up every week with my family to enjoy the warm hospitality where my kids get their special marshmallow laden hot chocolate and I try every combination I can think of on their menu. P.S: If you think Vijaywada Biriyani is a real thing this is not a place for you , stay away.

Limited options for 25 dollars per person. Should be 10 dollars per person due to the food quality and quantity. Only good part was the service and the
