We went to the Farmersville Margarita Crawl. It was good, but Jalapeno's is Great ! I did some online research before we went to the celebration. The worst review I could find for Jalapenos was that they put too much cheese on their nachos. So, we had to try them. Guilty as charged. Their brisket nachos are some of the best I have ever had. The wife and I split an order and were full, for $10. WOW ! Now the real reason that we will be going back to Jalapenos, their 27 ounce top shelf margarita (also $10). I highly recommend this combination to anyone that visits Farmersville. I know that we will be returning.

Restaurant pricing on menu differs from prices at checkout. Checkout is higher. Restaurant charged an 18% gratuity for a table of 6 but did not tell us. If one of us had not caught that the pricing was off, we would have paid a 2nd tip unknowingly. We should have been told before hand. There were 6 people. We’ve complained multiple time about their pricing, yet this restaurant will not correct their pricing and be honest and transparent with their pricing practices.To be clear the food is great. Service is OK. The complaint and score is only based on their pricing transparency.

We like this Mexican food eatery very much but the last time we were in, we noticed that there was no seasoning/flavor to the meat in either of our plates--it was very blan. We haven't noticed this before either.
After waiting quite a while, we had to get up to ask for menus, while others coming after us were being served. Basic communication in ordering was difficult. It looked like they were understaffed.

The best hole in the wall Mexican Restaurant!!! Been coming here for a couple years. Service is always fantastic, food is delicious, portion sizes are just right and the atmosphere is just perfect. The perfect place to grab lunch when you don’t feel like waiting because service is just that fast! Never been disappointed at Jalapeños!
