Really great food, and friendly staff. Chicken fried steak plate reminded me great of Iowa diner food I grew up on. They had gluten free options for my wife, and lots of substitution options. Highly recommend for the food quality alone.
If heaven had a deep fryer, it would be run by meemaw and family table itself. I came for lunch and left questioning every life decision that didn’t involve chicken fried chicken. The portion was so big I needed a fork, a knife, and a support group. Crispy, juicy, and smothered in gravy thicker than a Texas accent—this bird didn’t die in vain.

What a gem in Farmersville. We are possibly moving to the area and will visit often. The food was great. Especially the breakfast potatoes. The homemade oatmeal pies were spectacular.
