Annie is just the sweetest! We had delicious chocolate chip cookies and jalapeño limeade! I can’t wait to book one of her cooking classes!

We stopped in Flatonia as we waited for our solo Texas Independence Relay runner. The owner came out and greeted us with samples of southwest pimento cheese, chicken salad, and a gourmet cheese box. We almost told our runner go on without because we were going to stay here and EAT!! Thank you for hospitality. The relay runners tomorrow are in for a nice surprise...she had yummy treats for you, too!!

I have taken 3 cooking classes at Cowgirl Provisions and will be back again and again. By watching and listening to Annie I have learned many new and delicious recipes - which we also got to taste during the class. Her cooking techniques are unique, easy and great for my home kitchen and family needs. Annie's creative blends of flavors really ramp up the recipe - but the recipes are not so detailed that I would not try them. Her seasonings are primarily things I already have in my kitchen. We also enjoy shopping from the Cowgirl Provision's freezer. So many heat it up and enjoy items are available and make dinner different and yummy! It's also a shopping experience. Annie stocks kitchen tools and gadgets along with "provisions" to add to her menus. Delicious brownies, yogurts, dressings, cheeses, oils, beef......all locally sourced. Annie is fantastic about promoting other businesses in the community. She is fun and enthusiastic about her craft and makes learning in the kitchen a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend anyone in the Flatonia area stop in and visit Annie AND definitely take a class.

I recently went to an event where an artisan cheese maker from Stryk Dairy presented at Cowgirl Provisions. It was fantastic. Cowgirl Provisions has plenty of space. Annie, the owner, has tasty soups, artisan lasagna, and other foods for sale. Juaquin, the cheese artisan, was so engaging. I bought several varieties of his cheese, which is made with raw milk and changes over time. It was so yummy and so good for you. I’m looking forward to a future event! It’s in downtown Flatonia in a storefront that used to be the Post Office. So cute!

I have been getting some soups to have on hand in the freezer for days when we suddenly find we don't have the time or inclination to cook. They are homemade with the freshest ingredients and very, very tasty! Love, love, love having Cowgirl Provisions in Flatonia!!!

I've enjoyed many of her Menu items (her Chips cannot be beat), but my hands down favorite is her Creamed Spinach Lasagna! Looking forward to learning how to make it at her Cooking Class in LaGrange, TX on the 5th of April!!!
