10/10 for Flatonia Texas. Everything down to the Cesar salad. I will say the rolls were kinda hard but it was 3pm. I had the Flatonia Chicken, excellent choice!

We ate here last night on Valentines and as always great service. We had a young gentleman as our waiter and he knew exactly when we needed something, soon as our drinks were almost empty he was there. Soon as we set down our menus he was ready to take our order. He was on his toes, quick and didnt let his customers wait. I was astounded by his customer service. I don’t remember his name but wanted to express what great service he gave us. And that goes for everyone in the restaurant. They all worked as a team. They each made their rounds, checking tables without constantly asking you if you need something, they seem to watch from afar and know exactly when to come. I was just very impressed. I shouldn’t be. I always hear about their great service. I just wanted to share my experience.

We stopped here one time on a drive across country. It’s been 4 years and we still remember how amazing the food was. We had to compliment the server on the way out to let them know how much we enjoyed it. The server replied with “thank you! Robert himself is actually right there cooking the food.” This place gets 10/5 stars! Thank you Robert and your wonderful staff!

Made a stop on the way to San Antonio....Craving a steak I pulled in to Robert's. The people were nice and the service was quick. Had the potatoe soup and a Filet, the soup had great flavor highly recommended, but unfortunately the steak was chewy not tender like a filet should plus it was severely undercooked. The undercooked didn't bother, I've had steaks like that when I was younger. The quality of the meat was underwhelming.
If I'm in the area again I'm sure to give them another chance.
