Great steaks, including a bone-in ribeye. Wonderful beef fillet kebobs! Lots of chicken and seafood options. Fantastic soups like chicken tortilla, tomatoes or beef soup. A huge menu. Tons and tons of seating. It's a big place. A full service bar plus beer and wine. Terrible tasting tap water but somehow the tea is really good (can't explain that). Check their hours, as they're not open seven days a week. But we think it's the best restaurant in the area and we haven't been disappointed here after many dining experiences.

We had a great waitress . . . but when you have said that, you have said pretty much everything. My late mother had a "thing" about restaurants with "dim lighting." She hated when she could not see her food nor the surroundings (from the point of view of cleanliness and quality). She would NOT have liked Robert's, for the interior is exceedingly murky, and the effect isn't good / intimate . . . . it almost feels as though it is a means to hiding a rather unappetizing level of cleanliness. For example, the plastic menus were horribly STICKY, such that you felt your hands were no longer clean after holding them.. And their prime rib, when it came, really was not tasting (or looking, or smelling) good. But there was a bottle of red wine for just $20 . . . a bargain these days. They mixed a good Margarita. And the waitress was excellent. Yet, cheap wine notwithstanding, the final tab came to $136 with tip on top. Mroe than I was expecting "out in the country." If the interior was just made brighter, cleaner, and less "grungy" -- and the food tightened up -- I think there's plenty of potential here for a nice relaxing country steakhouse. I don't like giving overly negative reviews, but I think it's worth giving this one for it's a place that I wanted to like and jsut a few things would ahve made a huge difference for me. But at least they hired a great staff member. She did not venture her name . . or was it Donna perhaps? Sorry, my memory for names is always poor.

Wonderful place to eat, staff is super friendly and fast service HOWEVER if you have a shellfish or seafood allergy BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU ORDER IF ITS FRIED!!! we had 2 people in our party allergic to shellfish. We had asked if fried pickles were fried in the same oil as shrimp. Our wonderful amazing and accommodating waitress double checked and confirmed in the same oil. We ordered the chicken fried stake. After a few bites thinking the chicken oil should be safe. IT WAS NOT! THE STEAK ITSELF SMELT STRAIGHT LIKE SHRIMP! Immediately had to leave to seek medical attention. If you have a shellfish or seafood allergy please be aware they CONFIRMED! THEY USE THE SAME OIL AS SHELLFISH WITH CHICKEN AND POSSIBLY ANYTHING FRIED!otherwise meals were delicious and highly recommend.

The file mignon was perfectly cooked and amazingly tender. Even the grilled veggies were perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. To top it off my side of broccoli was pre buttered and seasoned DIFFERENTLY from the grilled vegetables. Oh. And the potatoes soup was thick with potato and cream and fat bacon and cheese. No fillers. ALL for a $20.49!!!!

Medium rare steak, over cooked, medium. No one ever asked about the quality of the steak. When mentioned, no response.

We had a german cockroach cooked in our sautéed vegetables. they comped the meal- as they should have- but that is absolute filth and unfortunately had eaten some of the vegetables before we noticed. also the service is terrible. after we told them about the roach plated on the food we had to sit there another 20 minutes with the roach plate until they got around to tell us they wouldn't be charging us.
