We went last Saturday for the first time. We were not impressed with the bland crawfish and they were dirty.. not spicy at all and that’s what we wanted and ordered extra heat. Some man who knew nothing about the restaurant nor the food was delivering the food, he told several tables his girlfriend was the owner… odd We had many cats at our table and the surrounding tables and they just walk the restaurant freely. We’ve been to same location when it was other restaurants, cats out in the woods and in parking lot but never had cats freely roam, nor jump on our seats. People complained but nothing was done. I’d say get rid of the cats and make crawfish more spicy 🌶️
We’ve been wanting to try this place since it opened. We have heard the reviews and read it’s just the best and heard the pink sauce is the bomb. It is absolutely decorated so nice and cute with tons of Mardi Gras decor and such. We went about 1:30pm May 10. The menu is huge! Lots to look over and try to select something. It wasn’t overly crowded. There were 3 big parties (7 ppl each table) and 5-6 smaller tables with 3-5 people each. We had to clean our table. We ordered a pound of crawfish, just to try them before placing a huge order, and the crawfish queso. The little boy took our order. (I’m guessing the boyfriend’s son.) He said how do you want the crawfish and he gave a few choices. We said the hotter the better. He said are you sure, we said absolutely. He said it’s hot! We said great! Our crawfish arrived first. About 5 minutes later the queso arrived. I asked the man (boyfriend)who brought the food where is the pink sauce I’ve heard it’s so delicious! He said, ‘um pink sauce I’m not sure about that I don’t work here. But I’ll check on it.’ We laughed and we said then why did you bring our food? He laughed and replied my girlfriend owns this place so I’m helping her out today. We said ok and he did bring us one pink sauce. We counted 3 cats that hang out on the patio. Who knows how many more! The orange cat named OJ (that’s what the little boy that took Our order called him), jumped on our table!!!!! Totally unacceptable! I’m allergic to cats and At my house my dog doesn’t get on my table!!! Let alone try to eat my food!!! Disgusting!!! House cats at a restaurant yuck. I asked the young boy is this your cat can you please Get him away! The owners boyfriend said the cat’s belong to the owners son Hunter. Totally nasty!! The boyfriend told many customers that He doesn’t work there and he used that as his excuse every time a customer had a question etc. Very unprofessional. Not sure if he was just proud to be the boyfriend but when a customer asked about anything, he could have had a better answer prepared. They had the little boy delivering food. He couldn’t find tables that ordered food and he just walked around with food while it got cold. He coughed on food and sneezed on food! The crawfish had no flavor and were very dirty, not even purged and Quite a few were very mushy. There is no way they boil with seasonings, as they were bland like I got them off a steam table at a Chinese buffet. No way they won best crawfish around.. if ours was extra spicy I’d hate to know what mild is like. They weren’t even dusted with seasoning. Crawfish queso was very good and the chips were good. They Said homemade in house chips, made there but not sure. bathrooms were dirty and had no soap in bathrooms nor any soap at the sink outside of bathrooms. No one ever came to check on us to see how food was etc. Poor service.
Wanted spicy crawfish. The crawfish were spicy hot, but maybe the worst flavored crawfish I have ever tried to eat. Wasn’t just me, my son thought they were horrible as well. Tried them last year and didn’t like them, this year was way worse. Won’t ever go back again. Just my opinion, y’all do you. Disgusting to me. You’re supposed to boil the flavor into your crawfish, not put hot sauce on the crawfish once they are already cooked. Common problem in East Texas with people trying to make crawfish spicy.
Tried to go here at 11:20 and the doors were locked when you supposedly open at 11. You can try to say the doors were unlocked and there were people inside, but our car was the only one there besides a motorcycle and nobody was inside.

Read so many raves about this place and decided to pick up some food for lunch and got the swamp fries; the fries tasted stale and were soggy from absorbing all of the gumbo. the flavors were meh.

If you're looking for a great spot to grab a tasty meal, *Catch Me If You Can* is definitely worth checking out. The prices are a little on the higher side, but honestly, the portion sizes make it feel fair — you won’t leave hungry. Let’s talk about the food. The Boudin Egg Rolls..were incredible — seriously, one of a kind! Crispy on the outside, packed with flavorful boudin inside, and paired with a dipping sauce that brought everything together perfectly. Easily the highlight of the meal. The Chicken Fried Chicken..was solid — crispy, juicy, and comforting. The mashed potatoes with brown gravy.. Absolutely delicious. Creamy, rich, and packed with flavor — they were the perfect sidekick to the chicken. The hush puppies were just okay — nothing too exciting, but still a decent addition to the plate. Now, the real showstopper was the Crawfish They nailed it — perfectly seasoned, juicy, and absolutely packed with flavor. If you're a crawfish fan, this place will not disappoint. Overall, I'd give Catch Me If You Can a solid 9 out of 10. I’m already looking forward to going back and trying more of their menu. If you’re craving bold flavors and hearty portions, this place is definitely worth a visit!
Great mom and pops restaurant. Give it a 4 because they were short staffed and our food took an hour to receive. We were informed about it though, so I appreciate that. Will definitely come here again.

If you want extremely mediocre food, aggressively bad service and a long drive to get there, this is the place.
Showed up one Friday, 45 min before close while they were still hopping, and no one would take my order (at the COUNTER). No one would even make eye contact with me. I stood in front of the register so long, the other costumers were staring. Eventually, I felt like an ahole, and left.
Tried again. Went earlier on a week night. It wouldn’t be such a disappointment if it weren’t so hard to find good crawfish.
I asked for a side of butter with my boil. When I got my order, they had poured it on top of the whole crawfish shells! Am I just supposed to suck it off my fingers? And if so, that’s still not a SIDE of butter.
I asked one of the staff for a side of butter (2nd time) when he came by the table. He said yes, went into the kitchen, immediately came out empty handed, looked at me, and then went and sat at a table with his friends and stayed there. I got up, walked PAST him, up to the counter, and asked for a side of butter (3rd time). I went back to my seat with it, him still sitting there talking to his friends.
We’re sitting outside, so my crawfish are getting colder and colder. Then, I realized why they poured it on top of the food. Because it was ice cold butter “sauce” straight out of the fridge. They literally couldn’t even be bothered to heat it up, so they just threw it on the food. And STILL didn’t heat it up when they knew the sides they just gave me were cold.
After I had been back at my table for about 5 minutes, already eating, clearly having gone and gotten my own side, he stood up and yelled across the deck, “don’t worry ma’am, I didn’t forget about your sauce!” As if to let me and everyone else know, he was making me sit there, waiting for over 10 minutes with my food getting cold while he watched, ON PURPOSE.
I brought nothing into this scenario ahead of time other than being a middle aged woman, eating by myself. I genuinely wanted to ask for my tip back. But, that of course, would make me the ahole for not wanting to pay people to treat me like garbage.
I will actively tell people to NEVER go here. Go to Rockfish if you can. I would have rather driven the 4 hour round trip than to be so insulted for trying to give someone my money. Hell, go to Louisiana, it’s closer. Big middle finger.

Food was good! I had the crab legs. It wasn’t busy at all so I got my food very quickly. Portions were plentiful. The atmosphere was, meh. Will I go there again? Absolutely.

Listen please, don't serve swan fish and call it catfish plus charge catfish prices. I would rather you charge me a higher rate for the real thing then spit in my face and tell me it's raining. You got a lot of people fooled that don't know fish, that was bs swan fish and yes I'm pissed.

Four of us ate dinner there last night. I had heard good things about it and wanted to try it. My neighbors had eaten there before and had good things to say about it. Finding a clean table was our first issue-but we did find one. And by clean-I mean wiped off so I’m not sitting in someone else’s crumbs. We order 3 shrimp boil dinners with sausage corn and potatoes. My husband picked a fried fish plate with corn and potatoes as a side. My husbands food came first after waiting about 30 mins. He started eating and finished before we got our food. I asked about it after my husband finished and was told it was coming right out. 10 mins later I asked again and they were plating it. I guess the order was just forgotten. A lady cleaning up apologized that it took so long but no explanation was given. The food was ok but nothing special. You put your own spice on the boil so it would be very plain without. Oh and my husband had to ask for his corn and potatoes. It was disappointing especially when you watch people order after you, eat and leave before you get your meal. Hopefully it was an off night for them but it made the decision on ever returning.

Started as dine in, realized they were understaffed (and the staff working didn’t look to want to be there). We noticed about 8 tables piled up with trash and leftover food, people kept asking about the food order and being told they were 45 minutes behind. We then asked to get it togo. Well an hour later we get cold fried pickles, bland food and everything we asked not to be on the taco all over it. Worst restaurant in the tyler area. First and last time for us. Will never recommend to anyone.
